Posted March 7, 200718 yr I've just heard leaked tracks of NIN's upcoming new album "Year Zero" on You Tube... This is gonna be an ASTOUNDING, truly 'Alternative' album to say the fukkin' least on the evidence that I've heard... Everything on "With Teeth" is just so fukkin' WEAK, lame-o and just plain c**p in comparison to the sort of menacing, malignant-sounding cuts that are on show here... This is REAL Industrial music, and on this evidence we may just be about to have not only the best NIN album since the glory days of "Pretty Hate Machine" and "Downward Spiral", but even a contender for Album of 2007, if not the decade.... Such an appropriate title as well, Trent Reznor stripping away all the crud, all the baggage that surrounds NIN and going back-to-basics, back to his Industrial Hardcore roots.... The Viral Marketing campaign for this album has been highly controversial and pretty disturbing, but obviously Trent is dealing with some pretty weighty themes on "Year Zero"... Btw, thanks for putting up these songs. I've got a few of their songs but never really listened to them that much, but the new stuff's pretty good.
