OK, ignore the rancidly sexist video, but anyone remember this classic from 2005? Massive in the clubs, and probably THE Ibiza tune of 2005, it's finally being re-released with some storming new remixes.

 

The song sounds almost Italo-disco, quite 80s.... but it remains a classic.

Havent heard this in the clubs, probably not as popular over here. Not too bad for an instrumental, reminds me of something else, does it sample Orb - Fluffy Clouds?

Nice track - doesn't really do an awful lot for me, but it's got a nice vibe.

It came out on Defected only a few months ago, with an Alan Braxe mix.

Weird you should say it doesn't get played in Portugal, because when I was in Lisbon last summer, I heard this record in about 3 different bars and clubs....

Depends on which city you go to, and which club you went to.

Ive always liked this but its a pointless re-release it wont do any better.

we went to Lux, the trendiest bar in Lisbon, Alcantara Mar (Mixmag recommended dance spot), Kremlin (the main dance club in Portugal)...they all played Lifelike... also, just been chatting to a friend of mine on MSN who organises Portugal's biggest dance festival, Boom.... asked him about this track and he reckons it's been pleasing the Portuguese crowds for the past 3 festivals....

Never heard it in Coimbra. I cant stand Lux though, its very elitist.

Lux was ok - it was a tad pretentious.... but I like clubs that don't pander to the riff raff, personally....
