I like the type of dance music Cascada make. My only problem with them is that they are all covers.

On the album is a track called A Neverending Dream.

Does anyone else remember the original from 10 years ago. It was massive in all over Europe.

It was by German techno act X-PERIENCE. It was especially big in their homeland.

I think the original was far better. Which version do you prefer?

If you haven't heard it you can listen to it HERE

Words cannot describe my hatred for this crass, tasteless, talentless, unlistenable rubbish which is devoid of any artistic merit whatsoever. Probably the worst music I've heard this century.

I'll have to echo Riva1986.

It's all this Cascada talk that makes this board so rubbish and the majority of people who post on this forum don't really have any regard for decent dance music (of course there are exceptions, but you get the picture...)

X-perience! I remember, it was 1 of my favourites at that time!

THANKYOU SCOTTYEM!!! EUREKA!!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

There is life in the heads of the Buzzjackers who visit this insultingly lame 'Dance' section.

PLEASE can we have a section of 'Eurocrap' which would include 90% of the absolute $h!tE in this section?

I think the average age (mentally or otherwise) of the inhabitants of this section is 12.... as I mention on the Lifelike thread (which, like any serious dance discussion in this area was utterly ignored)... does ANYONE here actually go to clubs? You'd be stoned out of any dance club if you asked for the majority of the music discussed in this section.... what disgusts me with the people who visit here is that you're not even INTERESTED in anything that's not Sunblock, Eric Prydz or Cascada... no desire to find any news about REAL dance music whatsoever...

Let's make this area of Buzzjack a bit more... err... 'intelligent', shall we? And leave the pop/pap to the Pop sections here.... this area is a DANCE area... you know, music DJs play.... things Pete Tong may recommend, that Mixmag would rave about (do ANY of you even buy this?), that you'd hear in clubs, that have filled the Ibizan dancefloors.... this area isn't for any old $h!te with a repetitive beat featuring a club-footed dodgy girl in a glittery bra...

There used to be a bit of a buzz on this forum, but not it's clogged up with comments on rubbish cover version and cheesey dance-pop. There are of course genuine dance fans here, and thats not to say non-dance fans can't post... but it's all the bloody time!!!
I really like their album and I don't care that its full of covers, I just think its a really fun, harmless dance album

exactly...I think all the real dance fans have left in shame.... I visit a few other club forums, and I'd invite the members from them here, but, to be honest, with the amount of cheese in this section, I'm embarrassed to.

No one is stopping you from posting the dance songs you like, each to their own basically. the UKmix forum is exactly that, its full of all types of dance, and i've never heard anyone complain about specific songs being on the forum. It all balances out.
Maybe there should be a thread posted by someone intelligent enough to explain what 'dance' is and what 'pop pap' is? Because the lines are blurred for me for one.

its all dance, some classed as intelligent dance, and others as crappy dance. Pop pap is just a way of snobbish dance fans dismissing the commercial end of dance music so that they dont have to deal with it. If people like it, it has earned its right to be posted on the forum, if fans of more alternative dance music are so upset about it, they should start by actually bothering to post about what the like instead of just moaning all the time, and i'm not even a big Cascada fan. BJ is a broad messageboard and not a specific dance messageboard, so its very likely to have mainly commercial dance threads, like in all other sites in similar situations:CFR, Ukmix, chc., etc... I think this issue has been discussed about a million times here...no point in starting all over again. Id be willing to add an alternative dance subforum, but I dont know if I have the power to do that, i'll check into it.
