Hi. A few nights ago I loaded my U2 albums onto my new PC. And I found Zooropa at the back of my CD cabinet. I hadn't listened to it in years. In fact I think I only listened to it a couple of times way back in 1993 when it was released. And I didn't like it.

But I've listened again over the past couple of nights and I absolutely love it. :cheer: Isn't it funny how your musical taste can change over the years? I can really appreciate this now. :yahoo:

Thoughts please. -_-

Yes, it is very under-rared indeed, have'nt listened to it in ages though. I loved most of their experimental material in the 90's, although 'POP' is my least fave album.

Zooropa is very under rated!

I started listening to it two weeks ago and now I can say this is a real masterpiece! Very experimental, more electronic feel to it (I love that since I'm a big fan of high quality electronic music) really different than e.g. The Joshua Tree.

The title track is my fave from this album followed by Lemon, Stay (Far Away So Close!), Babyface and Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car

Also Numb is supercool, too bad it seems to be a bit repetitive...

After all an amazing album (but #1 to me will forever be Actung Baby :teresa: )

^ just put the CD in the player and press play :D

or start Winamp, playlist->add directory->U2 - Zooropa and play

:P

I agree with every word in that post. In fact, I could have written it myself. I'm rather spooked now.

Zooropa is one of the few ones I hardly ever listen... But each time I do I´m surprised..in a positive way
