Posted March 10, 200718 yr Didn't want to create a thread simply on the basis of the Barcelona 3 - 3 Real Madrid game, so thought maybe this could be extended into much more depth, with different games, countries, leagues, etc, etc.. So, did anyone see the El Grande Classico? :o 5' [0 - 1] R.v. Nistelrooy 11' [1 - 1] L. Messi 13' [Yellow] Oleguer 13' [1 - 2] R.v. Nistelrooy 21' [Yellow] S. Ramos 28' [2 - 2] L. March 11, 200718 yr Yeah, now Moaninho thinks he's a tactical genius, when it was Jol who gifted him the draw taking Berbatov off Jol's good at doing that too -_- come on Boro :cheer: very soft penalty against Boateng yesterday <_< but begrudgingly I have to agree with it
March 11, 200718 yr Talk about tale of 2 halves :manson: The whole match turned around when we took Berbs off, yes I should be delighted with a draw against perhaps the best team in Europe but it feels kinda hollow given we were 3-1 up
March 11, 200718 yr Author best team in europe? :P don't flatter yourself, maybe the 5th best, but not thee best :D drawing with the 5th best is still, very good, though
March 11, 200718 yr Liverpool are far more of a European team than that mish mash of a team known as Chelski
March 11, 200718 yr best team in europe? :P don't flatter yourself, maybe the 5th best, but not thee best :D drawing with the 5th best is still, very good, though They are the overwhelming favourites for the Champions League, won the Carling, are only 6 points behind in the Premiership if they win their game in hand and are in the QF of the FA Cup, they are in with a very good chance of the grand slam this year and if they win even 3 of the 4 I think it would confirm them as the best team there is tbh, you are biased as you are a Utd fan ;)
March 11, 200718 yr They are the overwhelming favourites for the Champions League, and I ain't biased
March 11, 200718 yr  and I ain't biased I hate them more than any team bar Arsenal and Newcastle and they represent all that is wrong in football but the bookmakers have them as favourites for the CL and bookmakers are rarely wrong
