Just listened to it. The last time they did it, Energy 52 was #1, in 2001. I dont like the winner, the Ferry Corsten remix of William Orbit was way better, and was by far more successful.

Should have been Energy 52 absolutely anthemic tune or Corona - Rhythm Of The Night lol!!!!

I thought Faithless would have been number 1 but anyway the best track won

I listened to the show and I was considering the fact of recording it for my collection :unsure: But, after waiting to see the peak that Benny Benassi will have inside the chart... and seeing that the song did not even enter inside a top 20 :( , I consider this top 20 quite fake :P

So, meh, as a deejay, I cannot accept that my favourite record inside my box, is not even top 20 on the Dance Anthems gallery :angry: xox.

It was very trance-orientated and late 90's/early 00's skewed...only one recent record (Fedde) and only a few were older than 1998...

 

I did enjoy it though...some great songs in there

 

How Energy 52 and Paul van Dyk's songs were never bigger successes I'll never know

Did they do a more complete top 75 or something, I would be interested to know what other tracks were in the running and where they came.

Energy 52 was #1, and Gouryella was somewhere in the top20, that's info I know said by Dave Pearce during this years show.

Gouryella... NICE track!

 

Veracocha 'Carte Blanche' is another belter which would've fit this lsit nicely aswell.

I'm surprised Solar Stone made the list, wasnt a big hit, but hearing in the show I really liked it all over again. I tried to download it, but there's like millions of versions, and I cant seem to find the normal one.
