Posted April 14, 200619 yr they had a track on the free cd that i got. it was like Maz Manson's misses (wow tongue twista  ) Dita Von Teese singing some kind of caberet britpop like a gothic madness or kinks. any albums of theirs to recommend?
April 14, 200619 yr I own the album 'The Dresden Dolls'. It is AMAZING! I would recommend you to buy. It's a refreshing album which I've never heard anything at all like before, good fast and slow tracks. Lyrics are genius ^_^ I have also seen them live, and it was absolutely fantastic. So i have no complaints about this group which is unlike me :P

And Tiger, they are absolutely nothing to do with Marilyn Manson, he wishes he could write songs like this. I think Dresden Dolls were what Manson was trying for when he did his whole "Golden Age of Grotesque" thing - the whole decadent, German 1920s Brechtian Cabaret idea done in a more contemporary way; he fell far short of capturing it, whereas Dresden Dolls totally nailed it....
April 15, 200619 yr Their YV album's on MySpace if yer want to listen to it, aye. And they're doing a signing on Saturday 22nd [i believe] in the Virgin in Tim Square. WAH@THAT! :(
April 15, 200619 yr lol, yeah Scott, I think it was you who introduced me. Well, I saw they were playing in my city and then enquired about them. I am so glad i was introduced anyway, because they are fantastic ^_^
