I agree, Rob... the 'wiggas' as they're known - hilarious, really.... we seem to have a glut of Catherine Tate's Lauren amongst our British teens right now. Surely the end of this country is nigh if these are the next generation...

 

As for black people being racist about Muslims etc.... black people, unfortunately, seem to be far more homophobic than the white people I know, too.... they can't seem to get their heads around the fact that prejudice is prejudice, in whatever form you want to use it.

 

Did anyone see the Channel 4 docu about homophobia amongst the UK's black population recently? I missed it, but the trailers looked interesting.

Why do blacks use the N word themselves? I saw a clip of Chris Rock doing stand up and he kept saying it. Yet, they probably wouldn't like it if a white person used it.

 

Cos if you call yourself a name that other people use in a derogortory or racist fashion against you , it stops having an affect .. and therefore people won't use those names against you

my brothers like that, i swear he thinks hes 50 cent lol, really gets on my nerves....and hes started talking like all these rappers do to.....every other word is 'aint' or 'init'

True but psychology plays a part there too.. if they are using the name themselves it is less likely to cause hurt

Yeah guess so but the word being used so much whether it be by blacks or whites desensitises the word and reduces its impact making it harder for a parent to show their child that it is a vile word to use
