Nelly Furtado`s 'Loose' (Mosley/Geffen) returned to No. 1 on European Top 100 Albums, ending Norah Jones` five-week tenure with 'Not Too Late' (Blue Note/Parlophone), which dipped to No. 3.

'Loose' led the composite chart for two non-consecutive weeks earlier this year. 'The Sweet Escape' (Interscope) by Gwen Stefani featuring Akon topped Eurochart Hot 100 Singles for a second week. Furtado`s return to the albums peak was aided by a climb from No. 3 to No. 2 in Germany and 5-3 in the Belgian region of Flanders, while 'Loose' also held at No. 3 in Switzerland and No. 4 in Portugal. Its current single "Say It Right" completed a steady climb into the U.K. top ten, 11-10 in its sixth week. It also debuted at No. 2 in Germany and climbed 6-1 in Switzerland, statistics which fuel a 31-3 jump on the Eurochart. Remarkably, Furtado has two of the top three pan-European singles titles of the week, since its predecessor and former Eurochart No. 1 "All Good Things (Come To An End)" climbed back 6-2 after a 2-1 climb in Norway and No. 9 debut in France.
