Posted March 16, 200718 yr To be revealed this evening. Again, it's looking like it's just going to prove what a complete tit Steve McLaren is. Our two first choice left-backs aren't available for the first game. Which shouldn't be a problem as our left side is the strongest it's been for years. There are currently 5 players who've regularly played left back in their career having fantastic seasons this year; Gareth Barry, Matthew Taylor, Lee Naylor, Leighton Baines and Nicky Shorey. But who is the ginger t*** going to pick? PHIL F*CKING NEVILLE! :manson: Or Jamie Carrager. WHY? DOES HE HAVE NO CLUE AT ALL? A complete prick! Edited March 16, 200718 yr by RabbitFurCoat
March 16, 200718 yr Meh.. should be a laugh.. ..for the Isreal and Andorra fans anyway :( Further humiliation coming our way, methinks :(
March 16, 200718 yr Author Well he hasn't. Non-shock! :manson: Goalkeepers: Robinson (Tottenham), Foster (Man Utd, on loan at Watford), Carson (Liverpool, on loan at Charlton). Defenders: G Neville (Man Utd), Richards (Man City), Ferdinand (Man Utd), Terry (Chelsea, capt), Woodgate (Real Madrid, on loan at Middlesbrough), Carragher (Liverpool), A Cole (Chelsea), P Neville (Everton). Midfielders: Gerrard (Liverpool), Hargreaves (Bayern Munich), Lampard (Chelsea), Lennon (Tottenham), Parker (Newcastle), Carrick (Man Utd), Dyer (Newcastle), Downing (Middlesbrough). Forwards: Johnson (Everton), Rooney (Man Utd), Defoe (Tottenham), Bent (Charlton). I hated Sven, thought he was an awful manager. But McLaren has now gone four in a row without a victory and I can only see it being increased to five. I never thought I'd say it but we have managed to replace Sven with someone worse. Good luck to Croatia and Israel in next summers European Championships. :)
March 16, 200718 yr No Barry & Downing in. :puke2: And the way he is talking about Aaron Lennon in his press conference you'd think he was better than David Beckham ever was. :arrr: I'd rather have Stuart Pearce as England Manager than this idiot.
March 16, 200718 yr lol! SWP is $h!t, he shouldn't get anywhere near England's squad, let alone first 11 it's why we're so $h!t. Allowing c**p players to wear the shirt.. disgrace glad i have no love&desire for my country's national team, whatsoever
March 16, 200718 yr Phil Neville or Jamie Carragher at left back? Pfffft. As proven many times Carra isn't a full back, he's a centre back and he is a lot better player in the centre of defence than he is as a full back, but well that won't really matter as I expect Neville will play ahead of him. Our forward lines look awful as well. They all might be good club players but with the exception of Rooney, none of them have proved themselves at international level yet.
March 16, 200718 yr But who is the ginger t*** going to pick? PHIL F*CKING NEVILLE! :manson: Or Jamie Carrager. WHY? DOES HE HAVE NO CLUE AT ALL? A complete prick! Talking of ginger t***'s - I reckon these three could pick a better side than the current England manager: http://redandproud.com/images/ChrisEvans3.jpghttp://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/arts/2003/03/20/millson_hucknall1.jpghttp://joinme.wikia.com/images/d/da/AvidMerrion.jpg In fact I'm starting to wonder whether Steve McLaren learnt his knowledge of Football from this Ferguson: http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/images/sarah-ferguson.jpg
March 16, 200718 yr This is like the old days of Turnip all over again At least Graham Taylor got us to the Final stages of the European Championships before it started to go disastrously wrong....
March 17, 200718 yr well shame be upon all you Sven hounders -_- I was always and still am a fan of Sven & David Beckham (and I'm a Liverpool supporter). Remember in the World Cup David Beckham scored one goal from a free kick and had two assists. Under Steve McLaren reign England have shockingly yet to score from a still ball (Free-kick or corner).
March 17, 200718 yr I wouldn't worry too much guys, Israel and Andorra - hardly footballing giants.....
March 17, 200718 yr I wouldn't worry too much guys, Israel and Andorra - hardly footballing giants..... Israel can certainly put up a fight with the likes of Ben Haim at the back, but Andorra well even a pub team could beat them
March 17, 200718 yr Author Israel are an excellent side and were unbeaten in World Cup qualification is a group which is probably tougher than this one is! Sven WAS a useless manager, there's no denying that. Tactically inept and never had a plan B. However he's nowhere near as bad as the current manager.
