March 23, 200718 yr Woolmer 'knew murderer' Bob Woolmer was probably murdered by someone he knew, according to a senior Jamaican police officer. Deputy commissioner Mark Shields said there was no sign of forced entry into the Pakistan cricket coach's hotel room and his possessions were undisturbed. He told BBC Radio Five Live: "It looks as if it may be somebody somehow linked to him because clearly he let somebody into his hotel room." A statement was read on the family's behalf after the shock announcement that the former England batsman was killed by "manual strangulation" in his Kingston hotel room last weekend.
