The two 'Matrix' sequels were HUGE let-downs....

"Miami Vice" should certainly have been better than it actually was considering it was Michael Mann, the co-creator of the series handling the film..

Just about every Hollywood film John Woo did (with the exception of "Face Off") has been a bitter disappointment

"Gangs of New York" sucked... :puke2:

"Star Wars Episode 1"

Independence Day

Agreed on that one... A pretty terrible film... The White House getting blown to bits was quite amusing though....

I hope you mean amusing as in 'p*** poor effects' amusing.

. . . better effects in Men in Black imo, which was out roughly around the same time if I recall rightly, and for a comedy dealing with a similar subject, trounced all over it.

Yes, pretty much....

Spot on about "Men In Black"... The funny bits in that film were meant to be funny, the humour in "Independence Day" was all pretty much unintended, apart from the Will Smith moments.... Smith was probably about the only reason to watch that film...

Also worth watching for the heart-warming hope for the future of cross-platform technology . . . that a lap-top can be plugged into anything, anywhere and save the world

It also assumes that aliens are running Windows operating systems as well....

What's that film with the zombies? And they're all holed up in a shopping centre...i forget what it's called but they hyped up the remake of it so much & i watched it and was just like....

Oh and 'the break up' was the most boring film i have ever seen.

Considering Bill Gates' agenda that's not so out of this world.

The "Dawn of the Dead" remake is complete sh!te, a hollow, 90-odd minute MTV music video. It has an interesting opening 10 minutes or so, but rapidly degenerates... The original with its sly commentaries on consumer culture is infinitely more satisfying....
