Radio is'nt hard for him to sing though, he kinda just shouts

Lovelight will be quite difficult especially if he is out of breath, those high parts could be tough

maybe he will do near the beginning before he gets out of breath???

I would lurve to hear Lovelight live

Lovelight should be great live, hope the audience know it by now - Fair play to Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 - he has played the Soulwax version of Lovelight loads of times & has recommended it heaps - Annie Mac has also given it loads of airplay. It seems to go down a treat on the dancefloors. i absolutely love that version )

Pity more people dont appreciate the Rudebox CD version

I’m doing the warm-up set again. Playing rock CDs in the blazing sun for the early arrivals. Here they are not impressed by my champagne but they still wave and smile for the camera. Some have painted messages on their bodies, others wave England flags to make us feel at home.

Aussie Rules

First show and we’re back on track. It’s like we never left, like we never existed outside this place, this construct inside a stadium, except tonight Rob is wearing a hat. It suits him. Tomorrow he will be hatless again.

The stadium is usually the home of an Aussie Rules football team. At first this game appears to be a cross between rugby and an after pub fight. With tight shorts and vests. Apparently it's very popular with the ladies.

For the record:

There is no flower.

The banners are the usual - Touch My Rudebox etc.

And Chris Coco (superstar DJ) plays the cricket theme (well, you have to) and wears the **** Me I’m Famous t-shirt.

Show 2 at Subiaco Stadium, the home of football

Today the sun comes out and it really feels like we’re in Australia. Some of the gang are still getting to bed after breakfast though thanks to a lethal combo of jetlag and alcohol.

I have lunch at a bar called The Lucky Shag.

On the way to the venue I discover that I will not be DJing because the day before we were too loud. What? Coco? Banned for playing rock! I scream playfully.

Second show and it’s much better. There is strong energy from the crowd. It makes more sense. It’s much more fun.
