Posted March 24, 200718 yr Simon Webbe's second album 'Grace' and the two singles released from it 'Coming Around Again' and 'My Soul Pleads For You' have not done particularly well and as much as I like him, I'm sorry to say that it appears that there will be no more releases from the album 'Grace' as according to myspace, he has been dropped by his label. I realise that I on Buzzjack have a reputation for predicting certain artists to be dropped etc however, this rumour is not my own word.
March 24, 200718 yr Author IMO despite not actually owning either of his albums, the singles from his first album 'Sanctuary' were so much better, and stronger than the two singles released from his second album 'Grace'. The first single 'Coming Around Again' was very similar to the stuff released from 'Sanctuary' and the second and his last single 'My Soul Pleads For You' wasn't commercial at all so I can see why it flopped.
March 24, 200718 yr No! :o That's a real shame if true. I loved Sanctuary. Grace not quite so much, but it is a good album. Very sad about this :(
March 24, 200718 yr Oh dear :( I have both his albums and they're very good, but yeah the singles from 'Sanctuary' were much better Edited March 24, 200718 yr by Natanna
March 24, 200718 yr I LOVED his singles from ''Sanctuary'' and the albums pretty good too but the past two single have been TERRIBLE

March 25, 200718 yr I can't see this as being true at all, according to his site he starts an 18 date UK tour on the 21st of May. I hope you're right Suggy. I'd really miss Simon's music.

March 25, 200718 yr Me - I love Simon Webbe - very cool music. Muchh prefer him, his style and his voice, to Lemar! that he was getting dropped lol not the other way round. i wouldnt listen to his music even if i was death (that was supposed to be a joke ^_^ )
March 25, 200718 yr This can't be true. His solo career has been pretty successful so far although I rated his first album more than this one.
March 25, 200718 yr I was gonna say, he's just staring a tour :o It doesn't particulary bother me, I've never been a fan, but I'm still quite shocked.
March 25, 200718 yr It's likely they are abandoning the promotion of this album, but it's a bit premature to decide he's not getting another one. If they have any sense, they'd use the tour to push the album further. How much has this album sold anyway? And how well has the tour sold?
March 25, 200718 yr I always knew this album would do badly, I have no idea why his first one did so well tbh  That always seemed a bit random to me.
March 25, 200718 yr And how well has the tour sold? I've just done a search on ticketmaster and the best I could get for Newcastle was Row J on the balcony, so possibly it's sold pretty well ... no idea about the album sales though!
