Simon Webbe's second album 'Grace' and the two singles released from it 'Coming Around Again' and 'My Soul Pleads For You' have not done particularly well and as much as I like him, I'm sorry to say that it appears that there will be no more releases from the album 'Grace' as according to myspace, he has been dropped by his label. I realise that I on Buzzjack have a reputation for predicting certain artists to be dropped etc however, this rumour is not my own word.

IMO despite not actually owning either of his albums, the singles from his first album 'Sanctuary' were so much better, and stronger than the two singles released from his second album 'Grace'. The first single 'Coming Around Again' was very similar to the stuff released from 'Sanctuary' and the second and his last single 'My Soul Pleads For You' wasn't commercial at all so I can see why it flopped.

No! :o

That's a real shame if true. I loved Sanctuary. Grace not quite so much, but it is a good album. Very sad about this :(

Oh dear :( I have both his albums and they're very good, but yeah the singles from 'Sanctuary' were much better

Weren't both of his albums certified platinum??
I LOVED his singles from ''Sanctuary'' and the albums pretty good too but the past two single have been TERRIBLE

that he was getting dropped lol not the other way round. i wouldnt listen to his music even if i was death (that was supposed to be a joke ^_^ )

This can't be true. His solo career has been pretty successful so far although I rated his first album more than this one.

I was gonna say, he's just staring a tour :o

It doesn't particulary bother me, I've never been a fan, but I'm still quite shocked.

It's likely they are abandoning the promotion of this album, but it's a bit premature to decide he's not getting another one. If they have any sense, they'd use the tour to push the album further.

How much has this album sold anyway? And how well has the tour sold?

I always knew this album would do badly, I have no idea why his first one did so well tbh  That always seemed a bit random to me.

I've just done a search on ticketmaster and the best I could get for Newcastle was Row J on the balcony, so possibly it's sold pretty well ... no idea about the album sales though!
