Posted March 27, 200718 yr Arctic Monkeys are pleased to announce two shows at Cardiff International Arena, on Tuesday 19th June and Wednesday 20th June. Tickets go on general sale at 9.30am on Saturday 31st March (Max 4 tickets per person). Age 16+ Box office: 029 2022 4488 In person at: Cardiff International Arena Box Office, Mary Ann Street, Cardiff CF10 2EQ Seems like the next tour they announce shall be an Arena tour then. I guess this will dis-please a lot of fans because the atmosphere at the gigs just won't be the same anymore, but you can't be a band of the size of the Arctic Monkeys and play small gigs forever.
March 27, 200718 yr i think that their fans will be happy cause they will have the chance to see them
March 27, 200718 yr Author i think that their fans will be happy cause they will have the chance to see them Well yes some fans will be pleased because they'll have a better chance of seeing them, but also some fans won't be pleased because it'll mean all the atmosphere from gigs just won't be there anymore, because there are too many people at the gigs.
March 27, 200718 yr Well if they're going to complain then surely they would have done it about the Lancashire gigs already
April 1, 200718 yr I think it was a cert that they would be doing an arena tour eventually but I thought that they may have left it until the 3rd album possibly to see how sucessful this one was.

Yeah it was certain that they'd do arena tours. Razorlight did an arena tour after their second album, but then again they're not on a small label like the Arctic Monkeys, so yeah. Stiil no bands that have got a bit of mainstream success can play small gigs forever.
