Posted March 10, 200619 yr Sugababes score 1m sales across Europe Source: Music week The Sugababes' fourth album Taller In More Ways (Universal) has reached a million sales in Europe, while Robbie Williams' Greatest Hits (EMI) has passed the five million mark, according to the IFPI statistics. Taller In More Ways has continued to sell strongly despite the replacement of Sugababes founder member Mutya Buena with Amelle Berrabah two months after the album's release in September 2005. Williams' 2004 Greatest Hits album has sold over 180,000 copies in both Ireland and the UK and over 150,000 copies in Germany and Italy, on its way to five million European sales. A total of eight albums received Platinum Awards from the IFPI in the latest awards covering January and February 2006, five of which passed their first million sales. Alongside Sugababes, Green Day's greatest hits compilation International Superhits (Warner), Jack Johnson's third studio album In Between Dreams (Universal), French singer Raphael's third album Caravane (EMI) and the former Las Vegas dance troupe Pussycat Dolls' debut release PCD (Universal) have all sold a million copies in Europe. EMI has added to previous successes, with Demon Days by Gorillaz reaching two millions sales and Coldplay's X&Y topping four million, in addition to Robbie Williams' continuing popularity.
