My mum was watching it the other day. She said it was quite good.

I didn't really like the sound of it though, typical horror film, people driving in the middle of nowhere...

Terrifying, absolutely terrifying... Especially when taken within the context of the real-life murders of tourists which did occur in the Australian outback... This film has echoes of the recent trial in Australia where a bushman murdered British tourist Peter Falconio and attempted to rape and murder his girlfriend, Joanne Lees...

If you have that in the back of your mind while watching this film, you will feel very uneasy while watching it....

There's a bit more to it than that Lucy... It has a realism about it which is incredibly unsettling...

To be honest i was disappointed in this film when I saw it. I expected a lot after the reviews. It was ok but not as good as I was hoping

dont get it as its one of those films that gets quite a lot of showings on film4. should be able to record it onto dvd in a couple of weeks. it should be coming up for another viewing

We studied it in media but didn't see the ending. Apparently the ending is 'gruesome and psychologically disturbing'.

It's based on a true story in Australia and Wolf Creek is also a real place aswell. The first hour we saw was quite good I thought, hopefully it'll be on movies channels soon as I wanna see the ending.

Brilliant film. Don't be expecting cheap jumps and all out gore because this is so much more superior than those types of films. I personally think this is something you needed to see at the cinema though. I was completely drawn in and there was no escape. When I watched it on DVD it lost a lot of the effect because you're so detatched. If you're going to watch it, watch it alone with all the lights off and don't pause it for a cup of tea.

I agree with that.... I saw it first at the cinema too, fortunately my fellow patrons were not the brain-dead, teeny-bop "Scream" fans... "Wolf Creek" managed to repel those idiots (unfortunately when I went to see the original Japanese "Ju On - The Grudge", that was NOT the case, and it rather ruined the effect for me.... <_< ) and yes, I did experience what you mention. It's a bloody good experience on DVD as well tbh.... I watched it alone, late one night, lights off, and I actually felt a wee bit more paranoid....

it looks rubbish.

when will people wake up and see that there are billions of films which bassically have the same storyline as texas chain saw massacre??
