Truth be told, she could have said those things 10 years ago...and The Sun and co. is just dragging them back out now.

There is NO WAY in hell that Rob would ever go back to TT full time. To even suggest that, is completely and utterly ridiculous.

Plus, I think Barlow would jump ship if that happened, his ego would not be able to handle it :P

NUTINI: 'WILLIAMS SHOULD TAKE HOLIDAY INSTEAD OF REHAB'

http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/artic...20rehab_1027634

Scottish songwriter PAOLO NUTINI believes troubled singer ROBBIE WILLIAMS only went into rehab to get away from the stress of showbusiness - and insists he should have just gone on holiday with friends instead. The ANGELS singer checked into rehab earlier this year (FEB07) after becoming addicted to painkillers, but Nutini thinks the former TAKE THAT member was just in need of a break. He says, "It's probably more about the seclusion, isn't it? "For the same money you could take a group of friends and go to Jamaica for a detox."

what an idiot, a holiday cannot help you with an addiction

How nice, everyone knows what's best for our Robbie and tells the good old press about it. <_< :puke2:

Paolo Nutini, when have you had your last headline ey... ? Talking about RW must have done the trick. -_-

Sorry, have been a bit behind with the news.

I thought it was great for George Michael to stick up for Rob, i've always liked him. A duet with those two would some something special. I don't think Rob likes him though, I recall in 'Feel', they met in the studio and had a good chat, and then days later George was slagging him off in the paper about his record deal or something. But who knows. They have alot in common and would come up with something great.

As for PAOLO NUTINI. Firstly, is it a male or female? I've breifly hear the name before, but as its the 'in' thing to slag off Rob and use his name for publicity then that's exactly what he is doing. I take it he is very young? I mean to say he should go on a holiday is clearly taking the p***, it's like something Liam Gallagher would say.

No mention of Robbie appearing at this Live Earth concert then. <_<

Bono is probebly too busy having tea with Bush. <_<

I could'nt sworn I read they were confirmed to perform. I can imagine they'd do the US shows though instead of the London one.

CHARITY BOOST CREATES SILVERDALE SHOWER POWER

The Sentinel

Silverdale Cricket Club are aiming to introduce a new generation of youngsters to the sport - thanks to a little help from Robbie Williams. The club has received £500 from the star's Give it Sum charity for women's showers.

That means the club can cater for demand from local schools for cricket coaching sessions for boys and girls. The club has also been backed by a £1,000 donation from the local residents Underwood Road Action Group, funded by Aspire Housing.

Silverdale spokesman Glynn Moore said: "By having the ladies shower facilities, we will be able to cater for the whole community.

"There is interest from schools who want to use our facilities and it is good we are working with the local community towards improving our area.

"I guess we are the only cricket club looking forward to April showers."

Smiths stun Mark over cover

The Sun

April 11, 2007

MARK RONSON has defended his cover of THE SMITHS classic Stop Me If You Think You’ve Heard This One Before.

He spoke out after the ARCTIC MONKEYS slagged it off in Bizarre last week.

The DJ wrote on his MySpace blog: “When I recorded the demo the first thing I did was send it to Morrissey and Johnny Marr. It took a long time to hear back, but I found out that Morrissey liked it. You can imagine how I felt when Marr approved it as well.â€

Stop Me features on Ronson’s brilliant album, Version, which also stars ROBBIE WILLIAMS covering THE CHARLATANS’ The Only One I Know.

Em, have I missed something here ? Have certain people got new usernames like Scotty and jupiter... ?

And why all of a sudden, is it a new fashion ? Am I totally out if I keep my old username ?

How about if for next year's April Fool's we all change our username and don't give any hint as to who it could be, like the national flags

I don't find that Live Earth line up particularly spectacular and that's not just because Rob is missing. :P

There's just no one like him to get a crowd going and Live 8 proved that. I love it how when I hear about Live Earth they keep saying how this will be even bigger than Live 8 - and before that Live 8 was bigger than Live Aid.... do I make any sense... ? :D

It does make sense Monsoon, I know what you mean, everything has to be bigger and better than that last one. But sometimes that doesn't always follow.

I think this Live Earth thing is the week after the Diana concert, they are sort of over doing the events which can have an adverse affect.

I hope both will be successful though.

Robbie: I'll spank Monkeys

http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/8924/thesunuj6.jpg

ROBBIE WILLIAMS has offered to dish out a smacking to the ARCTIC MONKEYS for slagging off his pal MARK RONSON.

Robbie called his mate after reading cheeky chimp ALEX TURNERs harsh verdict on Marks version of THE SMITHS Stop Me in Bizarre.

As I revealed earlier this week, Alex said: “Let me tell you what I cant stand that R&B cover version of Stop Me If You Think Youve Heard This One Before.â€

But peace-loving Mark urged Robbie to lower his dukes.

He said: “Robbie offered to smack them up for me, but I was like I dont need to start a northern war. Rich, young rock stars still need something to get angry about.â€

I bumped into the superstar-DJ-in-the-making at the showcase for his brilliant new album Versions, which comes out on April 16.

There was an impressive turnout for the bash at swanky west London gallery Allsopp Wedel.

Borat star SACHA BARON COHEN arrived hiding under a baseball cap. WILL YOUNG and boyfriend Conor danced the night away, while AMY WINEHOUSE showed up with her fella Blake Fielder-Civil for an ale (or 20).

New York-based Mark injected his magic on both Amys and LILY ALLENs albums and worked on tracks for Robbies Rudebox.

Robbie repaid the favour by singing a cover of THE CHARLATANS The Only One I Know on Marks LP.

And now Mark is due to fly out to LA in the next few days to work on Robbies new album.

Mark told me: “His last album was a bit of an experiment but the new stuff will be brilliant.†:yahoo:
