Robbie and Kym hot to trot

news.com.au

STADIUM star Robbie Williams has reportedly fallen for the foxiest fox-trotter around - Dancing with the Stars' Kym Johnson.

The pair were spotted having coffee in Los Angeles last Thursday after hooking up the night before, London's Mirror reports.

Robbie, who left rehab last month, was so keen to impress Johnson that he shook a few moves of his own at the Hyde Park Club, but ended up falling into someone else on the floor, the paper says.

High-stepping hottie Kym shot to fame in Australia when she shimmied across our screens with a buffed and bare-chested Tom Williams in the 2005 series of the Channel 7 hit.

The pair became a couple off the dance floor after their victory in the show.

Photos of Robbie with a blonde on his arm - said to be Johnson - have now surfaced on the web. Keen-eyed fans also noted him in the audience of the American version of DWTS, apparently sitting in the camp of former N'Sync member Joey Fatone, who Johnson is partnering in the current series.

Good grief, you'd think by now they'd have realised that is is and never was Kim.

Robbie spent another post-rehab night at Hyde on Friday night! According to an X17 inside source, he was in a "great mood...friendly, nice and smiley"! Robbie arrived (looking quite dapper in his signature suit jacket) at around 12am with his British bros, but quickly found a lovely lass to chat up. He seemed "smitten" with an attractive, unknown brunette, dancing and canoodling with her all night! She musta made quite the impression on Robbie, cuz when he left, he was rapping LL Cool J's "I Need Love!" Check out the adorable video below to hear Robbie's version of the 80s classic!

Boy Band "Take That" To Perform At Princess Diana Tribute Concert In July

April 3, 2007 11:05 a.m. EST

Shaveta Bansal - All Headline News Staff Writer

London, England (BANG) - Britain's Princes William and Harry have personally asked "Take That" to join the sensational line-up for the Princess Diana tribute concert. The princes reportedly approached the reunited boy band because they had heard how much the group thought of the princess.

"Take That" joins a host of stars previously announced including Sir Elton John, Joss Stone, Bryan Ferry, Duran Duran and Pharrell Williams, taking to the stage for this summer's Concert For Diana.

William and Harry personally approved all the acts for the show at London's Wembley Stadium on July 1 - which would have been Diana's 46th birthday.

A concert insider said: "They put an immense amount of effort into the concert.

"They've personally selected acts they knew their mother loved in her lifetime and some newer ones they felt she'd have appreciated.

"It's a fantastic bill and a testament to their powers of persuasion that so many stars have agreed to take part."

Other performers added to the bill include Kanye West, James Blunt, Meatloaf, Bryan Adams and one of Diana's favorites Rod Stewart.

Organizers are also trying to get Dire Straits, another band favored by the princess, and the Spice Girls, to reunite for the concert.

Robbie Williams and George Michael, who both attended Diana's funeral in 1997, have also been invited to the event, which marks the 10th anniversary of the princess' death.

Money raised from the sell-out event will go to several charities, including the Diana Memorial Fund.

Was Robbie at Di's funeral? I don't remember that. I remember George Michael and Elton being there. Maybe he was.

I kind of hope he doesn't appear at this concert. I don't know why. I've just got a feeling it could turn out to be a bit tacky.

Take That for Diana

(Tuesday April 03, 2007 12:18 AM)

Take That have confirmed plans to appear on the bill for the Princess Diana Memorial Concert in July.

The reformed boyband join a star-studded Wembley Stadium line-up that also now includes Joss Stone.

The concert, which is intended to mark the 10th anniversary of her death, will also feature Sir Elton John, Kanye West, Bryan Adams and Bryan Ferry.

Her children, Princes William and Harry, are understood to be overseeing the mammoth concert and asked Take That to play after they paid tribute to Diana.

Mark Owen recently said: "Princess Diana was such an amazing woman. I think it's lovely the princes want to do something to remember her."

Meanwhile, Robbie Williams is reported to be considering appearing, while Simon Le Bon is said to have offered to duet with Justin Timberlake.

Speaking about the concert earlier this year, Prince William commented: "The main purpose is to celebrate and to remember her in a fun way.

"We wanted to have this big concert full of energy, full of the sort of fun and happiness which I know she would have wanted."

The provisional line-up for the event, which takes place on July 1, Diana's 40th birthday, is as follows:

Take That

Kanye West

Pharrell Williams

Sir Elton John

Bryan Adams

James Blunt

Keane

Orson

Rod Stewart

Meat Loaf

James Morrison

Duran Duran

Andrew Lloyd Webber

Bryan Ferry

Joss Stone

Take That Not Headlining Diana Concert.

femalefirst.co.uk

Take That Not Headlining Diana Concert.... British chart-toppers Take That have dismissed claims they will headline a Diana, Princess Of Wales memorial concert in London this summer (07).

British newspaper the Daily Mirror today (03April07) claimed to leak the full line up for the 1 July event, which would have been Diana's 46th birthday.

It alleged the reformed boy band would join Sir Elton John, Kanye West, James Blunt, Keane and Pharrell Williams at London's Wembley Stadium.

But the band are baffled by the report. A spokesman for their record label Polydor says, "It's the first I've heard of it. It's absolutely not true."

In other news Former Take That member Robbie Williams will reunite with his old band mates, insists Jason Orange.

I personally hope Rob has'nt been asked, cause if he refuses then the press will all make a big thing about it and how he snubbed Diana or something of the sort. It would be amazing though if he did perform, it would be like Live 8 all over again, Personally I'd perfer his first apperence at new Wembley to be his own gig, but if he does do one of these special evens, then I'd perfer it to be the Live Earth thing. ^_^

Hmmmm. It's all very strange.

I really didn't see how Take That would be headlining anyway above the likes of George, Rod and Elt. I'm assuming this concert will be beamed around the world and TT are not really world famous.

Robbie Williams to play at Vale?

http://www.portvale.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=59591

Manager Martin Foyle and Assistant Dean Glover have both been awarded benefit games by the club, and Foyle is hopeful that Robbie Williams may be up for taking part.

Foyle's game will mark passing 15 years of continuous service at Vale, and Manchester City have agreed to play the Vale in pre-season.

Foyle told 'The Sentinel': 'I haven't spoken to Robbie, but it will be on my list. I don't know if maybe he could come down and watch the game, or be part of it. It would be great if he could come down.'

Robbie appeared in both Foyle's and Glover's testimonials at Vale Park, Foyle's in 2001 and Glover's in 1998.

Foyle says of his testimonial: 'It was fantastic to see the crowd for my testimonial, it was packed to the rafters here. I don't expect to see anything like that this time. This will be a pre-season game and more low-key.'

09:40 - 03 April 2007

Port Vale have awarded benefit games to manager Martin Foyle and assistant Dean Glover - and have raised the possibility of Robbie Williams featuring.Glover's game has yet to be announced, but Manchester City have agreed to come to Vale in pre-season to mark Foyle passing 15 years of continuous service.

The Vale boss is hopeful Williams could play a part, just as he did in 2001 when he attended Foyle's 10-year testimonial.

Foyle said: "I haven't spoken to Robbie, but it will be on my list. I don't know if maybe he could come down and watch the game, or be a part of it.

"It would be great if he could come down."

Foyle has been at the Valiants since August 1991 when he joined from Oxford for a then-record £375,000 fee.

He scored a post-war club record 107 goals in his nine years as a player before joining the coaching staff and then becoming manager in February 2004.

Glover was also a club-record signing when he signed from Middlesbrough for £200,000 in 1989 and won two promotions during his 430 appearances.

He left his job as youth manager to become director of football at Stone Dominoes in 2002, but returned as Foyle's assistant two years later.

Foyle, who is waiting to confirm a date for the City game, added: "It is rare to be at one club for so long, but loyalty is a two-way thing and the supporters have always been great with me.

"It is easier to have a rapport with them when you are a player. It is different when you are a manager because there is more riding on things, which I totally understand.

"But the support we have had has been very good."

Robbie Williams played in Glover's testimonial, against Aston Villa, in 1998 before turning out for Foyle three years later when the opponents were also Manchester City.

Since then, he has become the club's highest shareholder with a £249,000 investment last year.

Foyle said: "It was fantastic to see the crowd for my testimonial, it was packed to the rafters here. I don't expect to see anything like that this time. This will be a pre-season game and more low key."

Glover added: "It's nice the club are doing this for both of us. I know we have already had testimonials, but I've been here 16 years and it's nice to be rewarded."

Gavin Handley, secretary of Vale supporters' Trust VaST, said Foyle and Glover deserved the benefit games.

He said: You can't put a price on loyalty, there is so little of it in football these days.

"They are black and white through and through and I think it's great the club is supporting them like this.

"If Robbie Williams could make it then all the better, I don't think we use his connection to its full benefit."

Gary Bore-low!

Closer Magazine (weekly)

Mr Showbiz

A Sunday supplemnt magazine published a completely sycophantic interview with the boys yesterday and I read it with disgust. Not only did writer Bryan Appleyard manage to shove his head so far up Gary's backside, it also made it look like Robbie Williams was some washed up old has-been. At one point Gary even slags Robbie for addressing his addiction to prescription pills.

He says: "One side of me wants to send him best wishes. I blame everyone around him. If it was me going into rehab, you'd never know. I'd be so embarrassed. But this bloody big press release giving all the reasons why...It's a big coincidence, isn't it? So who knows?"

It drives me bananas that Gary is continually jealous of the fact that Robbie Williams had the solo career he never could dream of. Yes, like most of the country I love Take That, they represent my teen years when I was at school. But are you honestly telling me if Gary Barlow had achieved mass success across the whole of Europe like Robbie did then he would have reunited with Take That? I don't blooming think so.

So why all the fuss? Maybe Gary's a tad jealous that Robbie could announce playing ten nights at Wembley Stadium next week (despite being in and out of rehab) and probably sell out!

Having met both Gary and Robbie I have to say I'm with Team Robster. He may be a mess in the head and a live wire but at least he has manners and is polite enough to say hello and actually mean it.

Gary needs to stop taking swipes at Robbie and concentrate on his career - being the song writer who can't dance from that band that have reformed to have a bit more success.

On the town ... Lindsay and Britney

were out, although Robbie stayed in

GOOD to see that Rehab Ravers LINDSAY LOHAN and BRITNEY SPEARS haven’t been letting the side down.

Here they are again on yet another night out – Lindsay at LA’s trendy gay bar The Abbey and Britney at the posh Koi restaurant in Beverly Hills.

The pair have been hitting the town hard since they checked out of their respective clinics after getting a clean-up.

The only one of the usual three party-mad musketeers missing was our very own ROBBIE WILLIAMS.

The singer has had his feet up at home for the past few days – all his recent post-rehab clubbing has obviously taken its toll.

Or perhaps he’s just Entertaining the young lady he pulled at a club the other night.

Robbie Williams's Heather help

Apr 4, 2007

Monsters & Critics

Robbie Williams is helping Heather Mills through her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney.

The 'Rudebox' singer - who recently completed a stint in rehab to be treated for a prescription drug addiction - was seen in the audience watching Heather complete a routine on US TV talent show 'Dancing with the Stars'.

The pair spoke afterwards and it is alleged Robbie told the former model to "stay strong".

A source told Close magazine: "Robbie was blown away by Heather's performance on the show and went backstage to congratulate her. The pair don't know each other but Robbie really admires Heather for her determination.

"He told her to stay strong and hoped she was bearing up well through her divorce.

"Heather was surprised when Robbie turned up but was really pleased he offered his support."

The 39-year-old blonde - who lost her left leg below the knee when she was hit by a police motorcycle in 1993 - wowed the judges by performing a backflip during her interpretation of the mambo.

Yet more bull$h!t I'd imagine. I doubt any of it is true.

Former SPICE GIRL MELANIE CHISHOLM wants to support reformed boyband TAKE THAT on their forthcoming tour. The newly-reformed band are preparing to hit the road to support their comeback album BEAUTIFUL WORLD, which is currently number one in the UK chart. Chisholm's own solo album TIME is released in May (07) and she is desperate to hit the road with her fellow 90s chart-toppers to promote it. Sporty Spice says, "I went to see them twice in their comeback concerts and thought they were amazing. "I'd love to support them. Take that used to be my guilty pleasure. I was a bit old to like them but did anyway. "ROBBIE WILLIAMS must be gutted seeing them do so well. I would be if the Spice Girls got back together without me."

Oh for gods sake, she is such a downright ignorant and attention seeking individual. Words fail me how anyone could be so clueless. She is comparing herself and her diabolical career to the best selling British solo act in HISTORY, someone who has sold near 70 million records, that's around TT and Spice Girls both combined. Eugh, such commments infuriate me.
