Any pocket money I get I spend on music. The stuff I illegally download is what I can't afford to buy, so therefore they're not losing any money from me because I wouldn't buy it anyway as I can't.

 

A lot of the stuff I download is just new songs that aren't available yet anyway, like leaked songs. I will buy the song someway or another when it comes out, whether it be on a single, album or compilation album.

 

I personally don't think they should be doing this randomly. They should target the mass downloaders, perhaps maybe more importantly uploaders.

Yes, and youre right, its unfair to do it randomly as opposed to taking into account who does it most - but Im afraid when they try and fine you, they wont bear in mind, or even care that what you illegally download is what you cant afford. They just dont care. :puke2: The buggers sicken me.

2) It's not the Government's problem, it's the BPI's problem and all they can do is take you to Court and the BPI cannot issue fixed penalties.
