The former S Club 7 singer repeatedly told cabin crew on board the Virgin Atlantic flight that she had been promised a first class seat. As the row with staff continued, she asked: "Don't you know who I am?" Eventually, the flight's senior cabin crew worker was called to deal with the situation. He told the singer that he did recognise her, but explained that she would have to sit in the area that she had purchased a ticket for. Despite her protestations, he instructed: "Go back to your seat, Miss Stevens." An onlooker told the Sunday Mirror: "It was embarrassing to watch. Rachel's bottom lip started quivering and she burst into tears like a child." A spokesperson for Stevens insisted: "Rachel was offered an upgrade when she booked her ticket. But when she came to check in they didn't have a note on the system. After explaining the situation, she boarded the plane and had a lovely flight." Any Comments?
