so im a satanist???

If you're an "opposer" of the will of an imaginary 'God-figure', then yes, you are, effectively, a Satanist.... But dont worry, it's not a bad thing. Don't believe the hype....

Even those who believe in god...

well maybe they're not honest enough in their prayers??

and they cant exspect god to just save them everytime they're in trouble

without them doing something about i believe god can help you no matter what situations you're in

he can guide you but you also have to work with god for that to happen.

There is not one shred of scientific evidence any single person lived 2000 years ago.

utter nonsense m8... there are bodies, works of art, tools, etc that can be shown by carbon dating to be of any age.

I don´t care. Whatever they find scientific proof or not, what he said was strong and that´s why it got so big. It is a very strong message.

*sigh*

but theres not 1 shred of evidence that he said anything! 'he' wasnt the originator of these strong messages, you talk as if the world prior to 'him' was utter chaos and anarchy which it wasnt!

the whole thing was a complete fabrication, it is not the 'truth' it is a lie created by the new formed church in order to control the masses.

and just what is the strong message?... that if you believe in him you wont die but have eternal life in heaven?... thats such an important message it gets ONE mention, in ONE gospel... thats just not headline news as it should be if it was real!!!!

You wanted to find the body of Jesus, in that case if would be a proof of his non-ressurection, in any case it´s not technically possible the facts claimed by religion can be proven.

I think your knowledge about history of christianity are rather weak... How can the gospels be created by an established church, since they´re available since thousands of years before the church has established itself as the official roman religion? It´s more like the established church took advantage of something that was previously existent. The first christians and the authors of biblical texts didn´t take much advantage of it, I suppose, they were not reach and were heavily persecuted, only centuries after, when the religion had become popular among the masses, that secular power noticed they could have taken advantage of it instead of tryng (and failing) to destroy it - that´s when the roman church was born, after the secular power noticed they couldn´t destroy christianity and it was easier to take control of it by travesting their secular government as "church".

if such a person existed, who did do miracles etc then there would be thousands of first hand accounts written at the time, the main message of salvation wouldnt be some afterthought tucked away in 1 gospel, he would have ensured it was headline news otherwise he would (and did) fail.

there possibly was a revolutionary who this myth has been built upon, there were thousands of such 'prophets' at the time. the jews were expecting him, the messiah, but they failed to recognise him... thats bloody bizarre! why should god become man to die for our sins and FAIL to get the most important bit of the story right?... besides, there was another claimant to the title messiah at the time, christianity nearly never took off! it only did so because the new forming sector of christianity 'beat' the opposition.

m8, the story is so full of factual holes that it doesnt hold thick mud let alone water!

just look at the belief in conspiracy theories today... people believing nonsense dispite indisputable scientific evidence, people believe what they want to believe in the hope that belief itself makes it a fact. it doesnt.

athiests dont have too...

i think im probably agnostic actually, as although i dont believe in any religion, i might accept the possible presence of a 'god' in as much that i think theres a supreme life force, a natural somewhat intelligent 'thing' that controls evolution and life itself. the very design of everything that lives and has ever lived would point to some 'positive force'..

closing your mind to intelligent discussion wont make your religion right! this is how religions in general survive, because people wont challenge it, they wont think for themselves as they might not like the consequences. people want all the big answers to life and death neatly wrapped up in a tidy palatable package, one that tells them that everything will be alright. believeing it doesnt make it a fact.
