Here's the only real meaning bit in the Music Week report:

 

A week after registering the highest weekly sales of 2007, The Arctic Monkeys’ Favourite Worst Nightmare album was again far too strong for the chasing pack, even though its own sales declined by 64.2% to 81,500.

 

I was hoping they'd sell over 100k this week. :( Still it's selling well so far and hopefully it shall be #1 again next week, but I have a gut feeling it'll fall somewhwere between #2 and #5. :(

Well, despite having more than 50 percent of decline in sales, I still think it sold very well this week!! I'm sure it'll sell quite consistently from now on.

Yes, I get a feeling the Manic Street Preachers or Travis could grab the #1 album spot this week.

That's what i'm thinking too...i've a feeling the album might drop to #2-3, but I still think it should shift a healthy amount this week! :D

Well it's gone platinum at least so I'm pleased with that :D It should pass 500,000 when Fluorescent is released too :cheer:

Well it's still #1 in the midweeks so far! :D Hopefully it can stay at #1 and fend off the competition. :lol:

Manics are 1,500 ahead now.. Oh well at least they're being knocked off by an excellent band who everyone should vote yes for a forum in the Features Request btw :P

^agree , even if i m not so happy about the new MSP album cause i think its their worst so far...
