I've seen links on another forum to download "the new Greenday single!" and apparently it's called Working Class, which is quite weird because I had no idea they were releasing anything new for a while. Anyone clear this up?

If you want a link just PM me by the way. :P

I've just read an article on this. It's a John Lennon cover supposivley. There's this iTunes download thing or something going on tomorrow where loads of different artists have covered different John Lennon tracks.

I gave it a listen, but I didn't really think too much to it. I prefer it when Green Day do punk, as they do it well, where as this just sounded a bit wierd and out of charchter for them.

So is this getting a full release, complete with video and all?

Apologies. ^_^

Clearly their are no fans of the Beatles in this thread.

Considering Working Class Hero is one of John Top 5 most famous songs from his solo career.

I really really like the song! :o

Love it :D

Wish they were releasing a new album though.

They'll be releasing a new album soon under their secret band.

I much prefer Lennon's version. They should stick to and go back to their punk genius they had during the Dookie days
