May 8, 200718 yr Well surely they would still exist, as the animals would still have babies. There just wouldn't be as many because humans wouldn't be overbreeding them. most speciese of cattle wouldnt exist, the nice big black and white freisan cows were created by selective breeding , as were pigs and all other agricultural animal crop. the countryside without animals would look completely different, animals are only there because they are a financial product, they arnt pets, they arnt wild.
May 8, 200718 yr I guess the downside to vegetarianism is the lack of iron and sometimes general nutrition. It's better to get iron from your diet than from vitamin pills but I guess that's better than nothing. I don't know if I've mentioned any health related problems faced by veggies in the past, but probably seeing as a waffle on about it all the time!

May 8, 200718 yr The main thing that gets on my chebs is the fact that this Janet character passes it out a a raceplace. Allow the fact that they want more people to eat it, but they don't have to be so inappropriate and disrespectful and pass it around that specific location. Knnooobsss.

FULL TRUTH there Sarah, to give out horse meat to race punters who have gone to spend a day seeing these beautiful majestic animals in their full glory is the product of a seriously disturbed mind
May 17, 200718 yr the horse cr@p was pure genius but a bit OTT IMO. i have to stop using so many abbreviations (sp??)
May 17, 200718 yr seeing as the horses role in fighting wars, pulling carriages etc is now defunct i presume that if horses were bred for food and nothing else youd eat it! pity Mr Hands from the zoo cant reply here
May 17, 200718 yr I dont get it? What's wrong with horse meat? I always thought a horse is the same as a cow, pig or sheep - If it lives in a field eat it but if it lives in a house dont put it in your mouth

I always thought a horse is the same as a cow, pig or sheep - If it lives in a field eat it but if it lives in a house dont put it in your mouth You can't compare a horse with a pig or a cow or a sheep, absurd Horse racing is the "sport of kings", I am not aware of pig racing or sheep racing or cow racing Horses play huge roles in ceremonial occasions, you never see the queen riding a pig or a cow or a sheep in Trooping The Colour or anything like that Same in policing, horses play a major role in crowd and riot control, have you ever heard of police pigs and police sheep and police cows ? That is just 3 examples of why horses are far more important than pigs and cows and sheep Edited May 19, 200718 yr by Vic Vega
May 19, 200718 yr well, a horse is stronger and more built than a sheep/pig so that explains why no one ever rides them. but they're more attractive too and i see your point about the sports thing too. i don't know if i'd ever eat a horse though. i'm fine with just eating the traditional meats like lamb, pork, turkey, chicken and beef.

May 19, 200718 yr so what?... its meat, and a perfectly reasonable scource of nourishment. i dont like horses, i do like cows, but it doesnt stop me eating them! The point stands that pigs, sheep, cows are only on this earth to be eaten and horses are not otherwise we might as well eat gorillas and giraffes and elephants and so on if animals are just only meat hence the point I was making that horses should not be lumped in with pigs, cows and sheep Eating horse is a legal practice I don't dispute that people are entitled to eat them if they so wish all I am doing is pointing out to brunoboi the fact that horses should not be compared with cows, pigs and sheep ! May 20, 200718 yr i don't know if i'd ever eat a horse though. i'm fine with just eating the traditional meats like lamb, pork, turkey, chicken and beef. They're only traditional because that's what you've been brought up as believing. If you were given horse to eat from a young age you wouldn't know any different.
