I've got 2 frozen salmon fillets in my freezer. I want to have them cold with a salad tomorrow. How do I cook the things and do I need to defrost them overnight first? ( I'm not a fish person <_< )

best defrost over night in the fridge

wrap in tinfoil with lemon juice & cook for about 30 mins then leave to go cold

(time depends how thick they are )

What heat do I cook them at?

I know. Fresh fish is always best but hey ho... :(

I spent many years working for Iceland - I know far too much about defrosting lol

ok should not need very long - but put some milk or lemon juice in tinfoil package with them ..... check after about 20 mins

don't over cook or they will go dry

Any butter?
