I hope it sells that much, airplay and everything still seems to be good so hopefully it should sell 15k, but it only needs what 11k to pass 500k?

The album's back in the Top10 this week! :D ^_^

That should mean roughly about 15k I think, give or take a couple of thousand.

It's selling great at the moment, hopefully we'll see it pass another 10k this week! ^_^ I dunno how much Old Yellow Bricks will push the album. :o  Maybe more than FA did because I think more people were inclined to download FA than buy the album, but maybe when people hear OLB they might buy the album?

btw , we have to wait the old trafford effect...if theres any ...

So true!

There might be some effect, I mean they played to a LOT of people and I think Amy's album sales will rise this week too, but we'll just see come Sunday I guess.

yeah we ll have to wait n see even if i dont expect bigger sales than their weekly usual...its funny that Glastonbury n T in The Park gigs didnt increase their album sales...not even the release of their catchiest tune FA...from the other hand more than500.000 sales for a few weeks remains a great achievement

I think Glasto did increase sales a little bit, but the album's still selling really well, it's sold 515k to date and hopefully it should still sell a lot more and it may even sell a million. ^_^

The album should pass 535k this week with a little bit of luck! :D

Its going steadily! :D

I really cant see Old Yellow Bricks doing much for the Album though :(

I hope it does, but i'm not too sure. I guess it just depends on what the video airplay etc is like for it.

But i'm not sure anymore whether Old Yellow Bricks is gonna be the next single. Jo Whiley said today she has no idea at all what the new single is and i'd have thought with her connections and everything she'd have known. So it makes me think that Old Yellow Bricks as a single is still really a rumour and something like 505 or Teddy Picker might be released as the 3rd single instead.

Well yeah exactly. It hasnt been confirmed, so there is still always doubt.

But i think the obvious choices are 505 and Teddy Picker. I remember 505 being played quite a bit by Radio stations, just as the album was released, and it seemed to get a great response.

Old Yellow Bricks is one of my faves, but if they want Album sales, 505 or Teddy Picker are the better choices.

But i dunno, Maybe Old Yellow Bricks has like a personal thing to the band or something ^_^ hence why they might want to release it.

If they do release Old Yellow Bricks i've a feeling they'll have already done the video for it, because when they did the Brits they accepted one of their awards dressed up as The Wizard of Oz characters, and if they did do a video then i'd say it would have some concept to do with The Wizard of Oz because that's what the song's based on. And didn't they say that they missed the Brits because they were filming a video? Would make sense I guess, but only time will tell. ^_^
