May 11, 200718 yr Author Are Take That on the bill yet? :w00t: No. They are doing the Diana. I can't imagine they would seriously do both gigs, but it would'nt suprise be either. The more I think about it, I actually think it could work well. I mean, he could some on, sing a few numbers and blow everyone away and show the public he is still the best performer on the planet, just incase some have forgotton whilst being caught up in all the endless negetivity towards him over the past year (which alot of them clearly have) I think it could be a good move. I actually think a duet of 'Kids' with Kylie would be great, it's been too long since their performed it last. I don't think he should release anything for the rest of the year though, but a one off performance to to blow everyone away would be nice. I mean, he has'nt done anything (apart from the tour) in the UK since late 2005 I don't think.
May 11, 200718 yr Author Well, he could'nt do the same songs as Live8. he should perhaps just sing, Rudebox, d!*kh**d and Mess me up  :P I think Rock DJ is perfect, that was meant to be sung at Live 8, and it is such an amazing song live to get a stadium going. Obviously Angels and Feel and LMEY are the signiture songs. If he does do it though, no matter what he does, he would obviously be amazing. ^_^ But I somehow doubt he will. The thing about Rob is, he never seems to deny anything. Most acts who were rumoured to be appearing have got their managment to deny it, but Rob's never seem to bother.
May 12, 200718 yr Well, he could'nt do the same songs as Live8. he should perhaps just sing, Rudebox, d!*kh**d and Mess me up  :P :o :o     you forgot Lonestar Rising Scotty I'm not giving up hope just yet, on the official site it says additional performers will be announced at a future date to the ones already listed
May 14, 200718 yr Bob Geldof Criticises 'Live Earth' Gigs Sir Bob Geldof has launched a bitter attack on this summer’s ‘Live Earth’ gigs, calling them “just an enormous pop concert”. The head of Live Aid has criticised the multi-national concerts organised by climate campaigner Al Gore for failing to secure any tangible solution to the issue. He rants, ”I hope they're a success. But why is he actually organizing them? To make us aware of the greenhouse effect? Everybody's known about that problem for years. We are all f**king conscious of global warming. "I would only organize them if I could go on stage and announce concrete environmental measures from the American presidential candidates, Congress or major corporations. "They haven't got those guarantees, so it's just an enormous pop concert or the umpteenth time that, say, Madonna or Coldplay get up on stage." Geldof also adds the name of the event – which take place in eight major cities on 7 July - is causing confusion with his own campaign. He says, “It sounds like Live Aid. We're getting lots of responses from people who think we are organising it."

May 15, 200718 yr Thanks Tessa, will let you know how it goes  I was surprised I managed to get tickets tbh, must be my lucky year :yahoo: all's we all need now is Robbie :yahoo: Yeah.. Saw George interviewd last night on VH1... he was cool....you will have a ball....He came accross really well on TV...he was interviewed by Joe Whiley & it was a recent interview becuse he talked about his court case. As a matter of interest he said that he gets $3million ( yes you hear it right folks $3million to do a private party ) as he needs the cash to fund his albums as its so expensive to make an album.....( millions it costs ) .These are the costs that Rob will have if & when he starts making his own album... costs a lot of money obviously. Sorry if I have gone slightly off topic...

May 16, 200718 yr It's not unheard of to play both shows though...Duran Duran is playing both. If those old geezers can do it, Robbie certainly can!!
