Just discovered this song this morning and I'm already loving it!

 

 

She's already got a lot of comparisons with Lily Allen and Regina Spektor, which I can definately see, but I think she can stand on her own two feet as an individual artist.

 

I hope this manages the same kind of success as Smile but I don't it as it's not that commercial. Released 18th June.

She sings like a Teletubbie, eh-oh! I like the video though.

I saw this on a Music Channel, and from my first listen, i really like it already :o :wub:

 

She is alot more calmer than Lily Allen, but the comparison is there.

 

Hopefully she doesnt have this whole ARTIST SLAGGING thing Lily has got going on, these girls have enough talent without doing such things :/.

She isn't the slagging type AT ALL. Much more grounded and well normal :S

I love this!

I hated Caroline's a Victim though.

 

However this is gorgeous.

 

Unlikely (now anyway) to do very well, but I hope, she is re-evaluated and promoted massively, like KT Tunstall was, this could do really well I think.

It's fairly like Lily's stuff, except much better and her accent sounds real and not forced like Lily's.

WoW What a tune! Absolutely brilliant though i think it might just be lacking the catchy chorus to get immediate attention but if she can get herself on the big radio stations and TV channels then I think there's a god chance of her really going places

I really like this song though - I have a feeling it will be a low top 10 hit - it's already getting quite good rotation on the music channels.

Wow, i love this song, she is very good.

The more I see this the more I think she has the same sort of husky, soulful vibe to her voice as Joss Stone. Not as good obv but then her accent is like Lily Allen's but she pulls it off a lot better. :lol:

I wasn't too keen on this at all to begin with, but I quite like it now. :o

I don't really like this :( It's too Lily Allen for me, with a little more huskiness. I hope this isn't the beginning of a load of Lily-Allen-ettes i.e. women who can't/don't sing -_-

 

Then again, I hated Lily to start with and now I've bought her album - so Kate will no doubt grow on me ^_^
