the public seem determined that it's political because we're so fecking ARROGANT and are unable to accept that it might be because of CHANGE, even when all of the signs are there (e.g. Ireland finishing last, Serbia getting points from bsaically EVERYONE ) that that is the case

FULL TRUTH!!

....Or 7.....

Frankly, I'd say we would've deserved 'Null Pointes' to be honest.... I think a total humiliation would've actually made the BBC, who seem to be in charge of the whole thing over here, actually think "$h!t, we really need to radically alter how we approach this".... But because we actually didn't come last, it's just gonna be business as usual for next year..... And again, we'll come bottom 5.....

Don't you think there were FAR worse songs?

What was worse?!

Romania was DULL and France was equally cheesy as ours, but on the whole, I honestly thought ours was one of the very low points of the evening

That BBC show where the UK public selects the song to represent us each year- what time does it go out?

I thought most of them were equally c**p tbh, f***ing awful. And I don't care what anyone says -_- there is a % of policital voting in the votes!

Scooch deserved to be at the bottom, the public voted for it, the public has no taste, televoting is getting ridoulous, I think regional juries used to settle it, rather than using televoting it will stop multiple voting, in the end the British public put Scooch into the final, so they are to blame.

Really :o I thought it was a really high standard this year, in general!!

Making Your Mind Up? I believe it was March 17th this year! Maybe if we all start writing now, we can put together a deacent song by next March? :P

Just wondering if it goes out early evening when loads of kiddies are watching and it's kiddies who are voting for the songs. It does seem the last couple of songs have been very juvenile.

Maybe changing the Song for Europe thing to 10pm would mean a better song would be selected. Then again.... :P

there were a hell of alot worse songs in the competition than uk ,uk didnt deserve to win but they deserved more at the same time

 :D

ukraine was 10 times worse than the uk and ireland didnt deserve last either

Ukraine was a f***ing joke, 1000000000x's worse!!! and that came second. -_-

I can only name three worse songs - Turkey, aided completely by diaspora (immigrants in other countries - this isn't political voting, just as you wouldn't call it 'political voting' if you voted for the UK when you were on holiday :P), Romania, aided by their own diaspora and their annoying little language gimmick (<_<) and France, who did JUST as badly as us!

Turkey and Romania didn't deserve to do so well, and if we were going to do badly we should have done absolutely TERRIBLY just to give a wake-up call to the BBC ;)

Ukraine was so bad it was brilliant, the UK were just BAD :(
