Nah Oasis should represent the UK :naughty:

He is too famous though. The Eurovision was mainly about unknown artists.

Maybe Robbie Williams could write a song

Yeah, like he would do eurovision, No serious UK artist would do it.

Morrissey not serious enough for you? -_-

Morrissey not serious enough for you?

He probably was looking to make a quick buck or restart his career though, neither of which Robbie needs to do imo.

Joshwaaaaa, you stole my idea! :o

Nah, Robbie would never do Eurovision. It's seen as too much of a joke in the UK.

No I don't think Morrisey wanted either. But fair enough Robbie might not want to do it for same thoughts aimed at him. If he didn't win it might end Robbies Career fast.

Yay Robbie

But I don´t think he would like to do it either

Well I reckon Girls Aloud or The Sugababes could be up to it.

Especially with the imminent return of the Spice Girls which will send those two bands into decline.

Restart his career?

I don't see why europe love robbie... there isn't anything special about him.. he's ok..

Well that's obviously just your opinion, not by any means a fact. I think alot worse about most female pop stars, but clearly loads of people love them. Robbie is one of the most diverce singers, performers and songwriters there is, and the best live entertainer in the world by an absolute mile imo, clearly millions all over the world can see that as he is the most successful solo live performer this century. And it's not just Europe where he's huge, he is the best selling international male in South American, as well as Austrailia where he is also massive. And sorry, but you have to be alot better than just 'ok' to be capable to put on a concert as legendary as he did at Knebworth.

There is no way he would ever do Eurovision though, no self respecting act would these days since it's seen as such a joke

Brian Kennedy? He's pretty respected in Ireland is he not?

I must say though, I'm no fan of Robbie's either - never sort of clicked with any of his songs. He is still yet to break America though isn't he? :o

Nah, not hugely. It's mostly just old grannies who like Brian's music. :P He's a good singer, but has the same sort of fanbase as Daniel O'Donnell I think, and we all know how respected he is. Serious acts who just sing don't seem to do well at all these days anyway, it seems it has to be like a big circus with bizzare outfits etc.

Robbie's no intention of breaking America, when he was younger he probebly did and he did try then, and had some success there. He has only spend something like three weeks in total working in the US in his 11 year career and sold over 1 million albums, but the way the press go out about it you'd think he spent years on end working there or something and sold nothing  He's lived there for five years, and seems to love not being noticed so I don't see him changing his mind and giving it a serious go anytime soon. There not a huge need really when you think about it anyway,he's worth hundreds of millions and since he can easily sell 7-8m per album without American, most singers can't sell near that with the US.

Spot on Scotty about his album sales, but just imagine if he had the US market how much more he could add to the totals, although I do read reports that the American market would only give an extra 2/3 million at the most. So he doesn't need it really, but he will forever be put down about it for some unknown reason, as if its the be all and end all of success.

Robbie and Eurovision, I could see him taking it up for a laugh and out of pure devilment.
