apparently the babysitting service on site.... it wasn't Portuguese... it was Brit-run. No excuse at all not to leave your kids with them if you wanted a night out alone.

 

I think it's at best bizarre that the parents not only left the kids in the first place... but also left them with the door unlocked :blink:

 

Surely the suspicion for anything suspect must now be pointing back at them don't you think?

I'm not accusing them of anything... but is it just me who rather dislikes the McCann parents? Especially the father, who seems a rather cold fish to say the least? The way they're being so media savvy, being pictured strolling on the beach, eating ice creams, and today him topless jogging... it just doesn't feel right to me.

 

If I'd left the door open for a kidnapper to snatch one of my 3 toddler kids, I'd be hiding away in absolute utter shame, not showing off in front of the press cameras.

 

 

Agree with you about all you've said. I was going to say before that I dislike him but thought I'd be castigated here. He seems rather smug and cold to me too. She seems in bits but not him really.There's something about him that I just can't put my finger on. My mum was saying exactly the same thing on the phone to me. The 'fighting fund' annoys me too. I said all this on the Daily Mail's message boards but my post was promptly removed and I had a warning email. Free speech eh? All posts criticising them are removed apparently which is very wrong. :angry: :angry: I've heard it's happening on other newspaper messageboards too. :angry:

Yes, mate I DO think... <_< There is just summat not right about the way these people have gone about things in my mind.. If, as you say, the baby-sitting service is Brit-run, then I just dunno what possible problems they could've had with using it. Why aint the press asking these probing questions..? Or are they just too busy harrassing Robert Murat and his family to actually bother thinking about other possibilities....

Speaking of harrasing that man they think did it. My BBC local news (Look East) has spent the last few days brodacasting from the village where he lived over 2 years ago, and his ex-wife and daughter (who slightly rsembles Madeleine :P) still live. It really seams pointless and has turned the whole thing into a circus

i hated the fact that the portuguese police are being critised because they werent giving out any info on the case. well thats the law in portugal. i know its a bit tense for everyone and that everyone wants to know what is happening but thats the way things go.

 

 

but the british media have blown things WAY out of proportion (as they do). so what if the kids were IVF?! how does that make them any different from any other child?? just because they are IVF kids the police should turn their attention on them?? NO.

Personly, i don't think people vanish without a trace, however i do think she is probably still alive, but in a completly diffrent country now. In my local tesco (in Essex near colchester fyi) they have one of those look into my eyes posters with Madeleine on it.

We have one outside our Students Union aswell, as if she's gonna be wandering around campus, or popping to Morrisons for a Mars bar. I know it sounds a bit heartless, but if she is gonna be found, it ain't going to be outside Leicester Uni Library.

I'd be very surprised if she's found alive now. I mean how many missing kids are actually returned unharmed? Not many. My best guess is she's dead now. If she IS alive I think she will be found, with all the publicity, maybe a tip-off.

it seems unlikely that she was snatched by a woman wanting a child.... pity as that way she would be alive and unharmed. she might have been taken to order by someone with money... either to be a daughter, or more chillingly to be sexually abused on a daily basis. this has happend before, only last year that girl in belgium escaped after 8 years in captivity, snatched at 10, abused by a sick perv.

I had a bad feeling about this 4 days after she went missing. I blame the parents, what sort of parents are they to go out for the night and leave two baby twins and young madaline.

Indeed, but just sometimes they are treated well by somebody who just wants a family or something, like that girl in Belgium who was missing for years but turned up as a young woman after she had been living with that guy but escaped whilst he was on the phone.
