Posted April 20, 200619 yr Gnarls Barkley, at number one, not actually a bloke but a duo! Lorraine, in the charts, not actually a girl but some blokes from Norway. what other bands have traded under a bloke's or girl's name? (well apart from alice cooper and marilyn manson who i've heard of, and who were bands in the first place and then the lead blokes. well i suppose vince and brian are not very rock  )
April 21, 200619 yr Author Des Mitchell. Shouldnt this be under D in the hitsingles book as Des Mitchel is a UK/Belgium trio
April 21, 200619 yr Author well i suppose if your frontperson is a blonde woman and there's lots of random blokes at the back, then i suppose you might think she is called blondie.
April 22, 200619 yr well i suppose if your frontperson is a blonde woman and there's lots of random blokes at the back, then i suppose you might think she is called blondie. I know that she's called Deborah Harry but I read in an old James Masterton commentary that Blondie are a band often mistakenly believed to be a solo artist. He also gave Sade as an example but she was up for Best Female at the Brits so I don't see how that works. Edited April 22, 200619 yr by Tim
