Sorry i just don't generally get emotive over magazine covers...but that's just me.

I'm GUESSING it's linked in that this will help her sell more albums. And oh, i said the cover was great, not the effects of the cover. Read properly before getting ott.

 

Oh, I'm sorry, but how else was I meant to interpret your four-word retort....? You said "the cover is great", just how many ways are there to read that...? How about actually contextualizing next time or maybe expand your meaning a little bit.....

Sorry mate, the only people I see walking around the way Avril does in these photos are the ones who tend to work in Brothels, strip-clubs or on the streets.... This "artist" has impressionable, pre-teen fans who look up to her.... If you think she's a good role model for these kids, you need your head examining..... Do you actually KNOW what the stats for under-age teen pregnancies and abortions are....? Check it out, it's really disturbing... Pop Stars who have younger fans under the age of consent should act a bit more responsibly IMO...

and said she will never take off her clothes just to sell more records...and look at her now

Well, she can say what she likes mate, the effect she was going for is pretty damn obvious - Skanky Crack Whore.... All very well to come up with these statements after the fact, and the only reason for her making the statement is because she's being rightly slated for her decision to do the shoot in the first place... It was a seriously bad judgement call on her part, and she can backtrack all she wants, she knows it was the wrong way to go given the fact that millions of her fans are young girls in their early teens. Not even as if it was necessary in the first place, was she really struggling to sell albums....? Did she need the attention..? I think not... Just who the fukk is advising her that this is the path to go down...? If it's her management or PR people, then she needs to sack them...

 

And yeah, it does make her previous statements aimed at the likes of Britney and Christina Aguillera extremely foolish and hypocritical...

yep totally agree when i fist saw the cover of her topless....i was like what a freaking hypocrip!!!!

after all the attacking she did to britney and all the other scantly clad female artist and then she goes topless :(
