Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic is again under the international the spotlight after a Latin Celebrities radio program reported yesterday that the singer Shakira and her fiancé Antonio de la Rúa are planning to wed in this country next September.

 

The newspaper El Dia, quoting the website Labotana, says that the famous singer’s wedding will be in her mansion located in the resort Punta Cana, in Dominican east coast. That same program didn’t reveal the date of the wedding, but several indications point to that month.

 

De la Rua and Shakira have been fiancés for 7 years and although they’ve been living together, her fans have long awaited their wedding.

I hate that shes getting married, when I want her all for myself ^_^ I spose I should be happy for her though!

its about time!! i'm glad she isn't choosing her career over her private life, she at the perfect age its time to get married make an honest man out of lucky antonio and make her parents happy too after being engaged to him for so long, i hope she has babies soon can you imagine a little shakira boy or girl

his name is Antonio De Rua he is 34 the son of the ex president of Argentina. he looks like a regular guy he's not in the music business he isn't an actor or model he is a lawyer he has a proper career!! :lol:

 

you can tell shakira loves him very much look at how she writes about him in her songs like in whenever wherever having him by her side as he follows her around the world their deal with each other and in Underneath Your Clothes about the man within not focusing on the surface, in Dreams for plans we see how their lives have got complicated and hectic. we get to know something about their relationship only through shakira's music though which is the best way

When I first heard that Dia De Enero was a song she wrote especially for Antonio, I was expecting it to be awful. But it is probably my favourite song after La Tortura on FO1. It's my fave Shakira and Antonio song :D
