May 28, 200718 yr Forgot to mention last night someone on rwap, posted the 'apperent' tracklistings for the final album Rob will release this year for EMI. However, after many people getting quite excited it seems it was probebly just a wind up. The list of songs are actually Robbie songs, but are unreleased songs taken from the following website where songwriters pay to put their songs up on. There is loads of Rob songs he has'nt released up there with info about who he wrote them with etc. American Society of Composers, Authers and publishers ^_^ They are not Swing though, as many of them were mentioned in Feel as being songs he wrote for IC with Duffy, and others that he wrote with Guy. For example, Blasphemy was the last song they wrote together, I remember Rob describing it as a real show-opener (or was it showstopper?), it must be a fab track as he gave it to David Beckham as a present I recall. So I won't be suprised if that does make an appearence on the next studio album. ^_^ Tbh, I recken someone just found that site with all of his unreleased songs, and picked a few out to make the tracklistings. Some of them are written by Desmond Child (who wrote Old Before I Die and the classic Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer), I recall in 'Feel' Rob saying that Old Before I Die was the best out of a bad bunch of songs they wrote together, he did'nt seem to like him, so I doubt they are new. -_- I am shocked to see that the song 'Say It A'int True' was written by Rob, Guy and Brian May and Rogor Taylor of Queen. Now that would be one song I would LOVE to hear someday. There is also a song listed called 'Techno $h!t' which Rob wrote alone, sounds very interesting. :lol: :lol: I supose, although it is HIGHLY unlikely, it is not impossible. Maybe Rob has two albums left on the contract, and instead of writing a load of news songs, he is just getting loads of unreleased songs from over the years and maybe that is why Guy is working on them, due to them being his songs. I sincerly hope not, as that would mean a half arsed album of songs that wer'nt good enough to make it onto any album or eve B-sides. May 28, 200718 yr Those titles definitely don't suggest a Swing Album to me. Load of tosh I reckon. As you say, it just looks like the titles of loads of unpublished songs going way back. <_<

LOL I'd love to hear all those songs on that list though. I'm sure Rob has loads more songs that have not been used on any album and are just lying about in limbo. He really should put them all on a cd. That would have been a great IS gift with membership actually. Love some of those titles .... Get A Life :lol:

May 28, 200718 yr I didn't read this topic for few days and look what a interesting thing I found out! :w00t: So, as I understand those are songs which are written some time ago, and they're supposed to be realised now? :unsure: Same as Scotty, I'm scared about quality of these songs, because they didn't make any album or even b-side before. And when he wants to realise that album? :blink: :unsure: This year? One good thing imo is that those aren't swing songs.

June 1, 200718 yr So whats being released next? A studio album or Swing Album? :unsure: It's too hard to say. None of us know for sure. Robbie said himself at his football match in Iowa in America that Swing will be next and there would be a concert to promote it, but he has been known to change his mind alot. Also, Swing is part of his contract with EMI, so he really has to release it, it is also his last album with EMI, but who knows, perhaps EMI have said they would rather the next studio album be released as the last album, as it would make them more money and agreed to change the contract. A video blog to let us know would be very much appriciated Rob. :lol:
