June 8, 200718 yr I agree Scotty....not waiting for a new swing album at all :( I love Swing and think Rob does it so perfectly, but now is not the time to release a Swing album I agree. After Rudebox everyone will be saying he is using old cover songs to get his career back together, which would really damage his career further and would be a very very bad move imo. He is a proper artist, one cover album is more than enough, there is no need for another. Also, I doubt he will be doing an awful lot of promo (apart from perhaps a one off gig), and Swing has been done endlessly by so many since Rob did it back in 2001, it just would not be as special anymore imo. Rob is not one to repeat himself, and I hope he does'nt change. The new songs he is writing with Guy and others are what I want to hear, and hopefully he will come back bigger and better than ever next year. :cheer:

I am sure that he would be thrilled with our interest.....imagine...a studio in LA...now that is interesting..... Well it's a new Guy Chambers webpage....so it is a bit weird that he has devoted at least 80% of it talking about Rob......Why do you think he did that..... I would have thought that he would have had some new thongs to write about in his BIO after five years.... I also thought that it was interesting where he said that he would have a big hit again & that he was born to do so..... I did think that it was very funny in the book Nobody Someday where he said that meeting Rob was like meeting his wife all over again...what an unusual feeling to have...it almost seems like a love affair & now he is restating again that the seperation was like a divorce.....Is it a case that Guy was really emotionally attached to RW & found it a bit difficult to be creative without him ...it's all a bit weird......Still talking about Rob after all this time. Guy has been talking like that for the last year...seen him several times on TV reiterating that fact that they were 50/50 in the relationship...what their roles were,how good Rob is at interpeting music & writing lyrics, etc, etc...so I think Guy has been doing his best to pave the way for them working together again,,,,Yes...' interesting indeed '......

I'm happy too that they seem to be mates again and if they are working together, even better. :yahoo: I'd like an album on which Rob works with Guy but other people as well. And that will hopefully blow people away. The common opinion seems to be that Rob's career is as good as over anyway and as annoying as I find that :angry: maybe it will be to his advantage. Nothing much is expected from him anymore, so if he manages to do a hit single/album it would be even sweeter.God, how I'd like to see certain people grovel :naughty:
