Spice Girls recording new song?

The Spice Girls are recording a new song together, according to a report.

 

Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Melanie C have apparently already recorded parts at a basement studio in Brighton last week while Victoria Beckham and Melanie Brown will join them imminently.

 

According to the News of the World, the girls are hoping it will make them a Christmas number one. A source commented: "It's phenomenal news for them, and the girls are really excited."

 

Halliwell and Bunton were photographed giggling and hugging each other after the session at the home of Richard Stannard, their old producer.

 

My gut feeling is that this is true.

 

Another piece of evidence is by looking at Melanie C's official site:

 

1. She has not denied this round of rumours like previous rumours...

 

2. Look at her diary for her itinerary/calender. http://www.melaniec.net/ It is pretty busy in May & June. But have a look at July onwards.... :thinking:

I really believe it this time. it just seems that if its gonna happen, it WILL be this year.

 

Emma and Mel C's solo career's havent done that well, Geri is doing nothing and Mel B is just eddie murphy mad.

Mel C says no to Spice Girls reunion

Melanie C, aka Sporty Spice, has revealed that she is reluctant to reform the Spice Girls, despite rumoured plans to do so.

 

The 33-year-old singer has insisted that she is currently concentrating on her solo career.

 

The five girls have been seen together on a number of occasions recently including at the christening of Geri Halliwell's daughter, Bluebell Madonna (WTF, poor kid!!!!).

 

However, in an interview with OK magazine, Mel C said: "I don't want to be a spoilsport, no pun intended, but if the other four do it then I think I'll be in a dilemma.

 

"I don't want to be the person that stops it from being the complete set, but in my heart of hearts it's not something I want to do."

 

 

Im so sick of the consatnt speculation and the stories every other god damn day, if they reunite i think their solo careers will be boosted and get them back in the charts, its getting tedious now!!!!

 

 

Lol everything in that article, Mel said on This Morning the other week. People just dont get that its not happening yet!

Yes, just because that article says only Mel is holding it back, thats only because shes the only one whos spoken publicly about it. What are the chances Posh actually wants this to happen?! Shes spent years building up a glamorous, ice queen rep, i doubt she wants to go back to leather outfits and singing 'stop right now, thankyou very much!' :lol:
