But they have been for 7 years. Wishful thinking can get so out of hand sometimes.

i'm not wishful thinking, i'm just posted the news.

I have no opinion on it really, if it happens it happens, just have to wait and see ^_^

the News of the World

it's not even good enough to be on my loo roll holder

I do want it to be true though

Hmm I'm tempted to believe the NOTW now, as they're banging on about it again. But really, a worldwide tour? How likely is that really? It'll certainly not happen this year.
Its not even a rumour anymore, nobody (with sense) believes it, its just a filler for the newspapers, get the buyers in. Sad really!

i so hope it's true... but i've heard a bazillion rumours of a Spice Girls reunion..

like the 10 year thing in '04... they were gunna release a greatest hits album, with a new song...

i'll believe it when i see promo for it and so on :D

For the non believers........

I WON'T BE A SPOIL SPORTY

Sunday People.co.uk

POOR old MEL C isn't that keen on a Spice Girls reunion - but says she COULD be persuaded.

The sporty one doesn't want to spoil her old mates' plans - and, of course, there's a cool £1million to be made.

Mel, 33, looking very glam at The Breathing Life Awards in London, told us: "I'm really happy with where I am in life and I'm fed up of all this reunion talk.

"But if the other girls do decide it is the way forward I don't want to miss it so we'll have to see." She and the other girls - EMMA BUNTON, GERI HALLIWELL, VICTORIA BECKHAM and MELANIE BROWN - have been offered £1million each for a one-off Christmas concert.

Ex-manager SIMON FULLER is co-ordinating everything. It is only Mel C who is holding things up.

The girls should get another chance for talks at the christening of Scary Mel B's baby Angel later this month. Mel said: "I haven't received my invite but hopefully I will be getting one. I will be very upset other wise! And of course I would go."

Oh ffs, this is OLD NEWS.

Her exact words - on tv, not in a lying paper - were that she would be in a dilemma as to what to do, if she did get an invite. But she hasnt even had one. Give it a rest Britain, god.

Not for the first time you are talking ill-informed misinformation. A bit like when Dr Who Series 4 starts recording next week in Cardiff

Oh & here is a separate interview:

Mel C would consider Spice Girls reunion

Sunday, June 3 2007, 11:03 BST

Digitalspy.com By Daniel Kilkelly

Melanie C has admitted that she would consider reuniting with the Spice Girls for a one-off gig.

The singer has always insisted that she would not want to play any part in a reunion of the girl band. However, the 33-year-old has now said that she would reconsider if her former bandmates put pressure on her.

"It was such a global phenomenon at the time. It was more than music - we were almost like cartoon characters," Melanie told Celebs on Sunday magazine. "It was difficult for anyone to avoid us during the 90s, so we ended up playing a big part in a lot of people's lives. I think everyone is just very curious to see what we'd do, especially as some of us are very high profile now.

"I've never wanted to do it as I feel it would be difficult to be as great again. I would be worried that it wouldn't be as good. But then if the other four girls said, 'Right Melanie. We're doing it. Are you in or out?' I'd be like, 'I don't know what to do!' A one-off I'd consider, but I wouldn't want to reform for good."

Oh & have you been watching Something For The Weekend on BBC2 today (10am - 11:30 am)..........

That's all I'm saying...... a very revealing interview by Tim Lovejoy with Melanie C....... but I'll say no more & hope that someone has recorded it & will upload it onto Youtube.....Or that the likes of someone on DigitalSpy, Virgin Media, teletext has watched it & will quote the interview.

All I say is if the Spice Girls are not reforming, then Melanie C did a very bad job of rubbishing the rumours (like Freema Agyeman on The Jonathan Ross show saying "They start filming Series 4 next week.....")

Right, youre going to trust a Digital Spy article. Trust me, if Mel had said that then the bloody music world would be orgasming over it (sadly). And i think you mean ill informed info - not misinformation

No I trust the following Facts:

1. Mel C's diary on her website is empty from July 2007 onwards, which is a bit strange when you consider it is June.

2. The Grants (Carrie & David) are decamping to Los Angeles in July to help prepare an unknown act. Oh by the way they used to be the vocal coaches (of amongst others) of The Spice Girls.

3. Victoria Beckham is moving to Los Angeles, because her husband is transferring from Real Madrid to LA Galaxy towards the end of June.

4. Two weeks ago, Geri & Emma were spotted coming out of the studio of original Spice Girls producers /writers Stannard & Rowe's Windswept studios, then five days later Victoria & Mel B were spotted coming out of the same recording studio.

5. An unknown act has block booked Wembley Stadium in early December 2007 for a week.

6. In Rolling Stone magazine in May 2007, Timbaland was asked which recording artist he has not worked with would he like to work with and he said "I'd love to bring back The Spice Girls".

7. Four of the Spice Girls had dinner with Timbaland's engineer Danja in May in London where he is putting the finishing touches to the new Duran Duran album.

8. On BBC2s Something For The Weekend, today's musical guest was Melanie C. When interviewed by host Tim Lovejoy she was asked about that question and she replied rather obliquely with a huge grin on her face "Well who would have thought eleven months ago after the World Cup that David Beckham would have been applauded off the pitch at Wembley this week".

9. The Spice Girls are currently 4/6 on to reform before the end of 2007 & are 5/2 favourites to have the Xmas #1 album.

As you rightly point out until they hold a press conference, confirming the reformation then it remains speculation.

But if not true, then that is quite a lot of concidences.

If not true, then that is quite a lot of concidences.

But that is all they are ;)

I hope you can prove me wrong though

I think it's gonna happen. And it'll be so amazingly orgasmic. :cheer:

Mel C's interview on Something For The Weekend (3rd June 2007)

Sadly her taking the phone calls has not been uploaded.

Oh & is this a coincidence:

Lovejoy quits Sky Soccer AM show

BBC Entertainment News

TV presenter Tim Lovejoy is to leave Sky Sport's Soccer AM show after 10 years, the broadcaster has confirmed.

"Tim notified us he would like a change of direction in his career," said a spokesperson for Sky. "It is a decision we understand."

Lovejoy was also a producer on the programme, which is renowned for its mixture of sport, stunts and comedy.

His co-presenter, Helen Chamberlain, will remain with the show. Sky said a new host would be announced shortly.

"Tim goes with our best wishes and we'd like to thank him for his work on Soccer AM," the broadcaster added.

Soccer AM is currently on a hiatus during the summer football break, but Lovejoy can be seen presenting the Sunday morning cookery programme Something For The Weekend on BBC Two.

He is rumoured to be leaving Soccer AM to present an entertainment documentary series about a famous band reforming for Simon Fuller's 19 TV- the company behind American Idol.

His management was unable to comment on the presenter's future plans.

Mmmmm!
