May 21, 200718 yr Who did the top ten consist of? I'm glad the Queen won myself from what I've seen, though Julie Andrews would've been a pleasant surprise. ^_^
May 21, 200718 yr thisispop you are absolutely right about The Beatles and Paul McCartney and you can't take their achievements away from them and nor would I want to. But I do think that Sir Paul, while highly respected, is not as loved as he should be as a person. Well I don't think he is anyway, and I don't know why I say that, being at Live 8 gave me that impression from the comments around me. Anyway, The Queen deserved to win without doubt, she has been tireless in her duty as our Monarch, but I am gobsmacked at how well Robbie did..he was only 4% behind the Queen for goodness sake. I hope it makes him laugh. :cheer: :cheer:
May 22, 200718 yr What on earth was this? I missed it completely. The Queen is the greatest living Briton? So, does that include the people who voted for Helen Mirren and the members of Queen? Does anyone have all the results from this so I can laugh at the public (I assume the public were voting if Robbie Williams was in there)?
May 22, 200718 yr Kate Thornton is not a natural presenter...but then neither are 99% of people on primetime TV.
May 22, 200718 yr Topics MERGED :D I didnt watch this, but i seen near the end, the Natasha Bedingfield performance, twas good
