Well I can't believe I have just discovered these AMAZING girls, when they have been around for almost 5 years! First off I wanna thank Luciano for teasing me with a few tracks, and then Matt for sending me the Greatest Hits, IT'S AMAZING... okay so I am just going to review these songs as the day goes by...

STARTING IN LIKE, TEN MINUTES!

1.Sound Of The Underground - I absolutely LOVE this track, the bridge is what made me (what is running in the wrong direction...) fall in love with it. I just love the lyrics and the Beach boys sound that they applied to the production. Probably one of the best debut singles for me since Britney's, Baby One More Time. Deffinitely one of the highlights foe me!

10/10

2.Love Machine - At first I didn't know if I LOVED this song, because at first it seemed all over the place. But, after listening to it more then once I decided that this track was also amazing...the lyrics make me laugh as well, and it is deffinitely a great song to drive with the top down!

3.Biology - Pure BRILLIANCE, this song is just WOW. This is actually the first song I downloaded (legally I might add) when all of CC was going crazy over it. I love everything about this song, and it is soooo catchy, this is probably one of my favourite songs of all time, and I think it would be a hit in America, personally -_-

100/10 (the 100 was on purpose :P )

4.No Good Advice - At this point I am just wondering if they can get any better and this song proves that it DEFFINITELY can. I can relate to this song, and I want to personally sing it to my homophobe of a family. The chorus, and the rock tinged production make this song a legend in it's own right

10/10

5.I'll Stand By You - Sorry guys, but after loving the original and Carrie's cover this was kind of a let down. It is stilla good cover, and it shows that the girls can sing very well...I would have liked it better if they had added more of a electro/pop feel to it (think Gwen's cool) but if I hadn't heard the original I would LOVE it .

8/10

6. - A Good song and I love all the verses, but the bridge leaves something to be desired. I do love the slightly dirty lyrics :kink: , and the electro-feel the song gives you when you're listening. Still a very good track though.

8/10

7.The Show - One of my fave Girls Aloud songs, the chorus is ORGASMIC...and I love how they are basically teasing everybody whether it be her ex-boyfriend or the haters. This is something that I could see veing on Britney's next album and that just makes it even more amazing. The production could not be any better, and it is just ace!

11/10

8. See The Day - The Best ballad from Girls Aloud in my opinion. I love the chorus and it is something that I wasn't expecting after hearing all the up-tempo tracks, it's a track that could appeal to alot of people and they harmonize very well!

I have to say See The Day when performed live is pure heaven

I'm glad you like No Good Advice

9.Wake Me Up - Another faux rock single, I love the production and the lyrics are catchy as hell! I love how they whisper the verses it's really a unique type of song!

9/10

10.Life Got Cold - Very deep, and it's very adult contemporary. Probably one of their best lyrically, I love the chorus and it is kinda sad. Proves that they are indeed a force to reckon with!

10/10

11.Something Kinda Ooooh - Alot different from everything else on the album, it is very dance sounding...and I love the bridge! I don't get the thing about the tutu though  . All in all it is still a great song, and I like the direction they are taking!

9/10

12.Whole Lotta History - Okay this song confirms tha every ballad they have released is just absolutely amazing. What a great concept to make a song about, the lyrics and the melody are very haunting and I can really relate to the lyrics. And the way they sing it just exudes emotion which is really impressive, as that's hard to find these days...and this is a song that's genuine and just amazing in it's own league

11/10

13.Long Hot Summer - Well I can't believe that most of you think that THIS is their worst single because I think it's ORGASMIC. The way they say BABY, BABY & YOU DRIVE ME CRAZY just makes this song perfection for me, and the ba ba ba's ... and the cooing in the background I think it's a masterpiece! :o

10/10

14.Money - Whoever decided that this should not be released should be shot in the FACE because it is utterly AMAZING. I think that if they did get put in the US they should release this as their lead single, as I could see this just being HUGE. And I could imagine a fabulous video for this! I love the bridge (Watch the label) I think this is probably one of my faves on the cd as it is just crazy and that's really cool that they can pull it off without any sweat!

11/10

15.I Think We're Alone Now - Well I hated the original guys, so you can't expect me to LOVE this. It is indeed an upgrade when compared to the original, but I think it is their worst single, the chorus just leaves a bad taste in my mouth :( .

OVERALL

This is probably my favorite girl bands of all time, and after Britney Spears they are indeed my favorite act. I feel priveleged to be one of the few in the US to be able to hear this group and all of their amazing songs...hell the worst song on the album is something that many artists WISH they could acheive. Kudos to Girls Aloud because they are amazing!

I must agree with you. After discovering them late last year after hearing "Something Kinda Ooooh" I fell in love with them. After that I HAD to import their limited edition version of the GH. I feel special. They're also probably my favorite after Britney Spears too.

I would just love if they came to America!

That's a really impressive review, I'm glad you like them so much Tyler! :D Although I can't remember what Track 6 is and you didn't name it? Is it 'Jump'?

I was a semi-fan until I decided to get the GH, now I have all of their albums and they're just brilliant  Personally, I can't see them ever being very big in the US but you're the American after all :P
