The track, 'Funeral Blues', was recorded in aid of the Friends of the Earth Big Ask Campaign that aims to raise awareness of the effects of global warming and cut carbon emissions. The singer recorded the track in London's only solar-powered recording studio. Borrell told Gigwise: "It's a song that I wrote a little while ago, and I've been really looking forward to recording it, but it has nothing to do with the ecological concerns whatsoever. "I went to the cinema with a friend. We watched An Inconvenient Truth, that film by Al Gore, and we walked out and were like, 'blimey' so that was it. I just got on the phone the next day. I said, 'I'm Johnny. I'm in a band called Razorlight. Can I help you?'" Do you think this song will be any good or not?
May 31, 200718 yr Not sure what this will be like. Somewhere Else is pretty much a solo record from Johnny in my opinon though...
