No.17 in the midweeks-whoops...

With no promo and not much airplay that's a lot better than I hoped for. Its a shame some Take That fans aren't buying it out of protest because Gary sings lead - because they're missing out on a fairly cracking b side. Mind you I suppose they could just download the b side.

im shocked with this but it has to go top 10

As I say - top 20 isn't bad considering the album has sold so many. How's the song doing in the Irish charts?

Well it has had alot of airplay, so I suspect it will do much better here. Also, 'An Audience With' was repeated over here on Sunday evening, with them playing the track.

I keep hearing that it has had a lot of airplay - but I can honestly say - since the showing of the new video on Channel Four (how many moons ago was that?) and now - I have heard it just ONCE - on Smooth FM. I've never heard it played on Radio One (although as I think Radio One is a bit pants right now - they just all seem to love the sound of their own voices - especially on the breakfast show - I'm not too upset by this.) I'm annoyed I'm not hearing it on local radio!

On a totally different topic - what do you think lies beyond the tour. I've got a feeling the guys may call it a day.

I mean in Ireland, it has had alot of airplay. Not sure where it is in the UK Airplay charts though, it may be too slow to be a radio hit in the UK. Shine is still getting played a huge amount in the UK though.

Not really sure if they will call it a day, was'n there talk of them signing on for two new albums a while ago? It must've been just a rumour. I can't really see them wanting to call it a day with their last single (well unless they release Reach Out obviously) missing top 10. They'll no doubt want to go out with a #1 single, and after the album doing do well, I can't see them giving it all up tbh. I'd be suprised if they are'nt writing songs, I mean it's been 7 months since BW was released.

there will def be a follow up to beautiful world i think ,i think we will get a live album then a studio album and then they will call it a day with a new greatest hits

id wait for life will be top 10 come sunday i hope her ein ireland the single is e5 which expensive for a 2 trach single most singles are e3 how much is it in the uk

Does anyone know any more about this credits song they're doing for Michael Vaughn's Stardust movie - I think its called Rule The World? If it is a goer - I would hope that that would be a single release and maybe they'd stop pulling stuff from BW.

Kathy

I havent heard anything about it at all myself

Apparently they're doing the closing credits song for this film - you can read more about on the International Movie Database. I tried posting a link to an article in the Daily Mail - but its no longer there.

But this link is still here from the Express (being the Express - I wouldn't pay much mind to it - and it is all sort of 'celebrity' chat in a way) - but as I say according to IMDb and The Friends of English Magic - it is true that Take That are penning the closing track.

the album has done fantasticly, and tbh this is a really weak single, and I don't really like it. I don't have the album as yet, but this really doesn't encourage me to buy either

Are you sure you're just not looking for an excuse maybe not to buy it.

And I really don't agree that IWFL is the weakest track - try as I may - I just cannot like Mancunian Way (and I've tried) - it is absolute drivel.

I completely disagree, its one of my favourites, its so melodic-and Howard has a great voice...its a very charming song...there are no awful songs on the album but What You Believe In is the weakest track in my eyes and would have been great if replaced with We All Fall Down which is

I've really tried liking Mancunian Way but I just can't - I find it boring (and a bit daft as I don't think any of them live within 150 miles of Manchester now anyway). I can't believe you don't like What You Believe In. Its my favourite Mark lead on the album (having said that - it was one of my least favourites when I first heard the album). I suppose that's what I like about BW - there are songs I hated first time round and like now and others I liked and have really gone off!
