I don't, well I try not to, as then if more people chart them at the same sort of time they all contribute to the BJ chart at the same sort of time. If ya get what I mean.
I have done with mine quite a few times but i also bring in old classics which at the time i would of gone back into :D

I dont use new songs in my pop chart because with the amount that I like I would have a completely new chart so to give existing songs an advantage but also its fun as it limits what you can put in!!!

PS. I dont even put pre-download songs in, they have to have an official release before they go in!

The only problem with my way of chucking everything in is that if I buy a new Delta album for example the top 20 becomes clogged up with Delta tunes, half of them perhaps underperforming at No.'s 9 and 10 when they should be in the top 5 but can't make it because of all of the traffic lol...

One Hit Wonders - Grace of God has been in my personal chart for over 1 year, and it's still not been released, and may never be. Although it's had about 15 release dates so far! Next one is 8th May.

I put new songs in before they are released as singles because it is a Personal Chart, & they are getting airplay and video play & I frequently get bored of songs by the time they are released.

I don't include album tracks to avoid my chart getting clogged up & otherwise Kate Bush's Nocturn would still be #1 since the release of Aerial in early Nov 2005!

Yes, same here with both points.

I look at the release schedule and if there is any song that I like that is out in the next four weeks or is in the chart already then I'll put it in my chart. ;)

I tend to pick songs that are featured on the release schedule & if I've heard it already & like it enough then I'll include it in my own Top 20. ^_^
