July 23, 200717 yr West Ham have signed Freddie Ljungberg from Arsenal. Not sure whether Arsenal will miss him that much, seen as he seemed to spend more time on the sidelines last season rather than on the pitch. £3mil? Good deal for Arsenal, but decent for West Ham IF he stops getting all his injuries, which i doubt.
July 23, 200717 yr Author So much for Freddie's 'I could never play for another Premiership club' act  He'll be just what West Ham need though, granted he'll probably spend three quarters of the season as a last-half-an-hour sort of a team player but the more they increase the depth of their squad the more chance they'll have of suceeding.
July 24, 200717 yr Author What is it with Juventus and their attraction to shit Premiership defenders? They signed Boumsong last year and they've now apparently put a £3m bid in for Senderos
July 24, 200717 yr Boumsong can play well when he's in a team he knows can actually win trophies

July 25, 200717 yr Leighton Baines has seen sense and rejected Sunderland  how very rude. however even though I am a sunderland fan i think it is hilarious that after all the times Keane has had an offer reject he finaly gets one acsepted and the player turns round and says no lol
July 26, 200717 yr Author Anelka has now moved back into the frame for United's new striker. Apparently they're targetting him if the Tevez court situation isn't settled by the deadline. I really would DESPAIR had I not grown never to question Sir Alex's judgement.

July 26, 200717 yr I heard it through the grapevine Everton were sniffing around Baines or was it Shorey. Curse my bad memory
July 27, 200717 yr Spurs are apparently leading the chase for Dyer at the moment! :o I've said it before on here i think, on his day, Dyer is one of the best midfielders in the Premiership in my opinion. But, with his injuries, Spurs shouldn't spend any more than about £3/4 million on him.

But, with his injuries, Spurs shouldn't spend any more than about £3/4 million on him. agreed, he just seems to be an injury liability (probably the curse of Newcastle)
July 27, 200717 yr True. Anyone who goes to Newcastle turns into an injury liability. Barton's injured now
July 30, 200717 yr I'll have to talk about Sunderland's transfers in here then. I can't exactly make a thread about one of the other 19 premiership clubs when none of those 19s fans, players and chairman are saying such moronic things, can I?! As I said, I LIKE Sunderland, I WANT them to do well. Just because you support them... :manson:
July 31, 200717 yr Man Utd have sold Rossi to Villarreal for £6.7 million Spurs have signed Kevin-Prince Boateng from Hertha Berlin. He seems to be highly rated in Germany but we'll see how he adapts to English football at Spurs.
August 1, 200717 yr Man Utd have sold Rossi to Villarreal for £6.7 million Spurs have signed Kevin-Prince Boateng from Hertha Berlin. He seems to be highly rated in Germany but we'll see how he adapts to English football at Spurs. Bundesliga young player of the year last season so he comes to us with a good reputation ^_^ he is supposed to be a bit of a hard bast*rd too so will give us some steel, many compare him with Patrick Vieira although he also got 10 yellows in 18 games last season so will probably be suspended a lot :o
August 1, 200717 yr Author Shame to see Rossi go actually. With all the young academy players coming up atm he was probably the one I was most intrigued to see break through. I've seen him a few times and he's an amazing centre forward when he's against the youth teams. Actually thought he may have a chance of getting a fair few appearances this campaign aswell. What with him being the only REAL fit centre forward who's an out-and-out goal scorer at the club ...

Didn't he go to Newcastle on loan last season and absolutely flop though ? maybe he was injured or something I dunno his stats but was pretty sure his loan spell was not a success so if he was not good enough to be a success at Newcastle that would suggest he is nowhere near ready for Man Utd first team
