Article About Robbie I Havent Got A Scanner So Ill Write It Up Theres Also A Pic Of Rob:

Robbie Williams has taken his biggest step yet to get, ahem, back for good with his pals Take That . Robbie, 33, who's now back with another former friend in the shape of Guy Chambers, has sent a handwritten note to the lovely Gary Barlow to praise him for their latest tune I'd Wait For Life.

The note read something along the lines of, "You get better and better, it's only now I appreciate what you do and what a great songwriter you have become."

A mole revealed, "Robbie really loves the track and kept raving about it. So he did what a friend does and sent him a note."

Let's hope he'll be back with them soon!

BIG BROTHER'S SHABNAM IS BANANAS

EXCLUSIVE BIG BROTHER 8:

SHAB-NUT Fame-crazy Shabnam obsessed with stars

By Nicola Methven Tv Editor 07/06/2007

BIG BROTHER'S celebrity obsessed Shabnam Paryani was sacked as a TV runner for sneaking into Robbie Williams' dressing room.

Guards at London Studios, where Rob was appearing on an Ant and Dec show, threw her out as she tried to give him flowers and chocs.

There is now a picture of her at reception to ensure she is not allowed in again.

One former pal said: "She used to hassle celebrities like mad.

She's ridiculously obsessive, to be honest she's a bit mad."

The fame-crazed Big Brother whinger, 22, also tried to hit the big time on ITV's new show Britain's Got Talent. Shabnam, up for eviction with Emily, 19, tomorrow, auditioned in front of judges including Simon Cowell.

Despite having no talent, she claimed she was a presenter and started trying to host the show.

But her efforts fell flat and she was buzzed off in seconds. Desperate to impress, she launched into a sketch as an old Indian woman. A show source said: "The judges told her she was no better at being funny than being a presenter."

Last month Shabnam appeared on C4's Embarrassing Illnesses, complaining of extreme dandruff.

She is also in Company magazine complaining she hasn't had sex for a year due to a medical problem.

Yesterday Shabnam had all her things confiscated when Emily and Ziggy chose her to take their punishment for discussing nominations.

She said: "Don't worry about me, I'm only here to get some exposure and that's it."

She's one scary mare. And I use 'mare' deliberately. Her closest resemblance is to Trigger.... :o

Oh and this photo really flatters her.

Meet the new 'Take That'

Thursday, June 7, 2007

http://img.metro.co.uk/i/pix/pa/2007/06/pa52194_175x175.jpg

These are the five men who hope to relight the fire of Take That fans in the new West End musical.

They beat thousands of others to play the Take That tribute band in the show.

Take That are furious that the multimillion-pound extravaganza, Never Forget, will feature their hits.

But record label EMI licensed the songs to the musical's producers in 2005.

Craige Els, 28, originally from Liverpool and now living in London, plays Robbie Williams in the tribute band.

He said: "They've waxed my eyebrows, cut and dyed my hair and gave me a fake tan and people are still saying 'who are you?'"

Dean Chisnall, 24, from Ormskirk, Lancashire, and now living in London, is Gary Barlow in the tribute band.

Dean said: "I'm a huge Take That fan, especially of Gary. He's the most talented. He has such a special voice in the band."

Stephane Anelli (Jason Orange), 27, living in London and from Southampton, said: "I used to watch the Take That concerts every Christmas, but if you were a bloke you were not allowed to admit it then."

Tim Driesen, 28, who moved to London from Belgium 11 years ago, plays Mark Owen in the tribute band.

Eaton James (Howard Donald), 31, from Leicester and living in London, has appeared in Miss Saigon and Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Rehearsals begin in two weeks before the show premieres in Cardiff and moves on to Glasgow, Manchester, Stoke and Edinburgh followed by a spell in London's West End in October.

ROBBIE'S HUNT FOR FIT GUYS

Robbie Williams is on the lookout for fit young men.

He is searching fof hunky fellas to play in his football team. The singer has taken out an advert in a Los Angeles newspaper appealing for "serious ballers".

Robbie, 33, turned up in an amazing team bus this week as his LA Vale squad took on O'Briens in Santa Monica, California.

But he is not convinced his current players are up to scratch. So he took out the full-page ad in LA Weekly - at a cost of about £2,600 - appealing for new talent aged 18 to 35.

Port Vale fan Robbie, 33, is enjoying his favourite sport as a distraction from writing the follow-up to his Rudebox album.

And if he really wants to make it big in football, perhaps he should have a word with David Beckham, 32. He will be arriving soon to play for LA Galaxy - and we hear he's not bad!

Ok, this article is about George (who I love) but there is a compliment about Robbie contained in it. And it's true. Very few acts can cope with stadium shows

Upstaged by a superstar stadium

Last Updated: 12:01am BST 11/06/2007

George Michael was engaging, entertaining and occasionally terrific... but the new Wembley stole the show, finds David Cheal

So, wembley is back in business, though not quite with the big bang that it deserved. Long before the completion of this troubled project, George Michael had pestered the stadium's management to allow him the honour of being the first artist to perform at the rebuilt venue and, having been granted his wish, he launched the new Wembley with a sparkling show featuring hits from his 25-year career, sung with his customary elegance and conviction.

http://i17.tinypic.com/4u1fuix.jpg

Solitary star: George Michael, alone with his audience, at Wembley Stadium

But time and again I found myself looking not at the lonely-looking figure of Michael but at the remarkable stage setting behind him, with its giant rolling screen that curled from ceiling to floor. Even more compelling, though, was the sight of this extraordinary stadium with its own elegant curves; it looked sensational, and sounded terrific, too.

Michael began the show, visible only on the video screens, singing an a cappella version of Tim Buckley's Song to the Siren. Then, to enormous cheers from the fans, a doorway lit up like a gateway into another dimension opened, and the man himself swaggered on.

He shouted "Wembley" like a man who'd been waiting a lifetime to say it, the band launched into the chunky groove of Fast Love, the crowd, a sea of blonde highlights, began to jiggle, and we were away.

What followed was entertaining, engaging, and occasionally - as in the fabulous Freedom and the timeless Careless Whisper - terrific. But there were times, too, when the momentum was lost: his choice of material was a little peculiar (why test the crowd's patience with Elton John's maudlin ballad Idol?) and there were a few too many anonymous-sounding groove-based numbers.

Also, with the band more or less hidden from view, it was left to Michael to carry the show. It takes a man with a big, big presence to reach out and grab a stadium and, to be frank, though he may have a gigantic ego, his personality just wasn't compelling enough. He is not Freddie Mercury or, for that matter, Robbie Williams.

But there was always the stage to look at, a stunning piece of visual engineering which, as evening moved into night time, became a thing unto itself, a feast of colour and pattern. And the crowd, clapping, swaying and waving their arms like a forest of sea anemones, played their part in making this a memorable show.

But for me, above all, the night belonged to Wembley: warm, resonant, friendly, the stadium was the star.

Yeah, it's so true. Rob is the king of live performing, especially in big venues. No-one can quite hold a crowd of 100,000 + like him. I watched the four songs C4 showed of George's Wembley gig, and he is excellent of course, one of the best singers of all time imo, but I can see what they mean. George has so many famous songs that he did'nt sing, just looking at the setlist, there are quite a few songs he sang that I don't know well. Wembley looks amazing though, can't wait for Rob to perform there. Such a shame he missed out, as the Close Encounters stage would've looked just perfect there. :(
Having been at Wembley for George's show on Saturday, I can absolutely say that the Close Encounters tour would have been more fitting for opening up the new Stadium.

the first part of the article is about Sophie Ellis-Bextor, but this next part is about Joss Stone:

Unlike Ellis-Bextor, Joss Stone is huge in America. Not so much in the UK at moment, however. Stone, in an interview with The Times, discusses the moment when her British career went to $h!te - her much-maligned shout-out to Robbie Williams at this year's BRIT awards. She singles out Russell Brand for hypocrisy: "Lots of people there that night knew Robbie and would boast in other circumstances of being his mate, yet not one of them stood up for him. Well, where I come from, if someone attacks your friends or your family you do something about it. So I said what I said and even if it wasn't very clever, at least it was sincere. And that it was Russell of all people only made it worse to me. He's been there himself and knows what it takes to admit you need help."

Good for Jose, she seems like a real nice person, although what put people off her in the Uk this time was her awful fake American accent, and her being real full of herself this time around imo. Before she was so shy. I still like her though, she's very talented, which is rare with female pop stars imo :P

Will's new LA fitness thrill

June 12, 2007

ROBBIE WHEEL-IAMS has jumped on his bike in his latest fitness regime.

His US footie team, LA Vale, is on winning form and Rob’s pal JONATHAN WILKES has joined the lads out in the Hollywood Hills.

Rob got his pasty legs out to prove he means business in getting them to the top of the league. He’s cyc-ed up – but the hat looks daft.

It's called a helmet Vicky, not a hat :teresa:

Helmet :kink:

I must comment on Robbie's fitness regime. All this hiking through canyons, cycling, playing football.....

It puts me to shame. But then I think, Really what's the point Rob? You smoke about 60 fags a day.

I'm American and I didn't hear an american accent or her even trying to do one. I remember saying it at the time. I never quite understood why the British said she was trying to sound American or whatever. Saying ya'll is not trying to be American or doing an American accent

Well done to Joss Stone  I've always liked her. She's honest even though its much to her detriment at times like at the Brits.

To think that some people there know Rob better than she does and didn't say a word, is dispicable and a real slap in the face.

So what if he does ?!

It in no way makes him unhealthy. There are lots of non smokers who are in worse health and in worse overall shape than smokers.

60 fags a day? Come on. That's doing serious damage to anyone's body.

As you all know, the footballer called Robbie Williams (who plays for some English club) really messes up my Google News searches. So I think, well at least the football season is finished and I won't get all these non- Robbie Robbie news reports cluttering up my searches.

But what do I find today? A bloody Australian cyclist called Robbie Williams messing up my Google News Searches. <_< I'm not happy. Can't these people change their names?

Williams off to Europe

Story: ROBERT CRAWFORD

NOWRA cyclist Robbie Williams is set to try his hand on the tough European circuit again.

Williams will fly out on June 21 with his new Australian team Drapac Porsche.

They will be undertaking a number of tours and one-day events during their six-week tour of Europe.

It will prove to be a busy month for Williams who will also celebrated his 22nd birthday while racing overseas.

Currently studying a commerce degree at Wollongong University, majoring in finance and financial planning, Williams will fit the tour around his studies and exams.

There are three tiers of international cycling under the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale), and the Drapac Porsche team will be contesting events as a pro continental team, just one step down from the pro tour, which rides big events like the Tour de France.

The Drapac Porsche team is Australia's first professional continental team.

"We have a good team and we are looking to do well," Williams said.

"Quite often, we will come up against guys from the pro tour and teams from our division often get invites into the big tours.

"It's going to be a great trip, with some very challenging riding."

The team will take part in four one-day events in Belgium, ranging from 160 to 220km before tackling the eight-day Tour of Austria starting July 8, which will see the team tackle 1300km in the Austrian Alps.

The shortest leg is 129km, but they vary up to 205km and include a 25km time trial.
