I love how Aronofsky does this throughout the whole movie, really adds to the film's message.

I love the intro to the movie it just rocks man it just does :yahoo:

Gondry has become one of my favorite directors. This film introduced me to his work and well he's simply brilliant.

A classic scene from "Full Metal Jacket"..... You honestly dont know whether to p*** yourself laughing or be very fukkin' afraid of this guy...... R Lee Ermey seriously earning his Supporting Actor Oscar for his legendary role as Gunnery Sergeant Hartmann...

The classic "Mexican Stand-off" sequence from "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly".... Probably the greatest Western showdown sequence of all time, a truly bravura piece of film-making from a director who was a genius of the genre... No words are spoken between these three men, but they hardly need to speak, everything is said in their glances, the anticipation, the long, slow build up of tension, each man waiting for one of the others to make a move. The use of music here is also central, I think the use of music here to create effect and mood is really quite amazing, Ennio Morricone's legendary score is probably one of the greatest pieces of music I have ever heard in a film and just nails the thoughts, feelings and emotions running through the heads of these three men as they face their destinies and fates, saying far more than any line of dialogue ever could.. The cinematography is just marvellous, never EVER under any circumstances watch this film "panned and scanned" on TV, because you just will not get the full effect, every inch of the cinema screen is used by Leone to brilliant effect... They just dont make films like this anymore, which is an absolute tragedy..... :(
