Post an embedded YouTube video

 

A simple way of post youtube videos is now available.

 

Find the ID and post it like this.

[youtube]VideoID[/youtube]

So for example you want to embed this video -

 

Do the following:

[youtube]jsuwiKCnntM[/youtube]

which gives you this.

 

The original method where you can embed any flash link is still available Youtube embedding instructions here

Is anyone having trouble seeing embedded videos in IE8 by the way? They just look like an unloaded picture... I have to load Firefox to see them :cry:

Doesn't work. I do exactly that & it just leaves a blank box the same size as the would-be video.

the new site will completely transform how media is embedded (for the better). Vivo has not been added but when we are live add a new request and I will see what I can do :D

And when approximately wil this live thing happen? :thinking:

lots of news! I'm posting regular in the Moderators Lounge, not expanding further than that currently. Finishing off the last parts of the editor (quote and multi quote). Expect a release for testing end Feb - this very much depends on my ability to buy, setup and then drive to the data center to install our servers..
