Hoi Sabske

ah I'm Sabske again thanks twinky

I'm only here because I've no intention of going to work tomorrow. ^_^

I won't get an appointment tomorrow

It's the UK NHS remember.... :(

Don't be ridiculous.

You phone up. You are given an appointment 2 weeks away. By which point you have either recovered or died.

But you probably need to pay for medical treatment. Free healthcare has its drawbacks. <_<

Are you not able to just walk in? :o The Irish system is awful as well, we have to pay about £70 just to see the doctor, even if all he does is write you a prescription. It is so annoying, but we don't have to wait 2 weeks. Do you get it completelly free in the Uk then Jups?

Yes. Completely free but you need to pay about £6 per prescription.

If you phone with something really urgent they will try to fit you in sooner. Or you can phone every morning to see if there are any cancellations. But there is no 'walk in facility'.
