Is there anymore 'what were they thinking of moments' from your favourite acts? acts who you normally enjoy but might have one record that sticks out for being utter c**p, the tune that you alway skip over on your cd???

Although that was intentional to try and get out of his record contract ASAP

Um, Robbie William's Rudebox. I thought he was okay before it (even Radio), but I seriously lost all respect for him. He's lost everything he had going for him, and has hit rock bottom. And invented how the media has ruined his life (see "She's Madonna") even though no one gives a $h!t.

Well that's a matter of opinion. I personally have far more respect for him now for taking a huge risk, and not continually playing it safe like the majority of pop starts who bore the $h!t out of me. The album itself was released out of the blue without any promo, and went to #1 in 14 countries with 4.5m sold (according to Neil Tennant from the PSB who produced tracks), so he has by no means hit rock bottom, especially considering She's Madonna and Lovelight are two brilliant songs, with other tracks on the album being even better. And do not take the SM vid seriously  It is a p*** take, nowt to do the the media ruining his life

Natasha Bedingfield was alright, I really liked I bruise easily, then she went and released that babies $h!t.

it was released without any promo and got to #1??? mmmn??? this has similarities to the movie word where $h!t film are released without screening to critics as they no the films $h!t, but it gets to number one anyway due to the brand awareness behind the project. and in the pop world there is no bigger brand than someone like robbie.

as for Lewis Taylor's Lovelight, it might be more due to the him rather than robbie, i havent heard the original so dont know how close to the original it is. however Lewis Taylor is something of a lost genius according to some factions in the press just like a certain Mr Duffy and his band the lilac time (mentioned in teletext again this week as a great cult band). however robbie's reading of kiss me is dreadful, one of the worst things i have heard. havent heard the orig, not gonna bother. think if McFly does Me Me Me that would outrank it.

and as for Rudebox and the people dont like it as its got him rapping on it. take that off and what are you left with??? an old Sly and Robbie riddim.

Well Johan 'mr stakkabomanofswedenfame' Renck's video was alright but no New Order's Crystal. both psb and rw are capable of much more, here they are getting away with it, but obv its not getting away with it

i'm sure some people have a few words to say about the lovely amy studt - all i wanna do, seemed to stall the first chapter of her music career a little.

I don't want to say this, but Christina Aguilera's Back To Basics..not the entire thing, but most of it..I just haven't been able to get myself to enjoy it as I do Stripped.

Edit: I forgot about Never Gone by the Backstreet Boys..I thought they left all of the songs off that should have been on the album and overall, I didn't get the same feeling listening to it as I did their previous releases.

no offence to Holly Valance and Tammin Sursok fans that maybe on here.... but neither of them should have released a cd.... its tacky, coz they were soapie stars....

so with Holly a new CD will be alright now and not tacky as she is Entourage, Prison Break and Hollywood films now

just think even she now can go do a cover album of Tom Waits tunes and back up the Jesus and Mary Chain on BVs and everyone will think it as cool and not in the slightest bit way nebbish

From Westlife there are a few... Like Angel Wing's, More than words, Queen Of my heart, Mandy and Desperado.

S Club-Alive (what a letdown that was)

Steps-Here and Now (not comparable to some of their other classics)

The Corrs-Old Town (awful song)

Kelly Clarkson-Never Again (should have been a b-side or left as a demo)

Shakira-Illegal (was this really a worthy follow up to one of the most amazing songs ever)

Madonna-Get Together (Why does she always go wrong with the third release from each album?)

Atomic Kitten-If You come to me (bland)

Rihanna-We Ride (bland again)

Westlife-Bop bop baby (they wrote this one didn't they...it shows!)

Hear'Say-Everybody (even the single without Kym was better than this one)

no offence to Holly Valance and Tammin Sursok fans that maybe on here.... but neither of them should have released a cd.... its tacky, coz they were soapie stars....
